The first thing that got me about these bar stools is that there are very heavy. The iron and wood is pretty heavy duty. I was impressed that it's actually real wood. All the irons support and fittings are pretty heavy and the screws and other constructive materials heavy duty. I like the design they look rustic when you put them together. Much better than what I expected!

I bought two of these counter stools about six months ago and loved them. When I purchased two more I was disappointed to see a different finish. I understand the variations that can occur, but these are quite stark in their contrast. The first set was perfect, but second set has a blue-gray filler in the grain of the wood; only on the front of the stool back and the seat though. Just the same, they are well-made and sturdy. Still a good purchase, but I strongly recommend you buy the total number you’ll need at one time so they are more closely matched in finish.

I added these chairs to the set of chairs and table I pervious purchased. They have a great look and are super easy to put together.I have to commend the seller for their great service - originally the factory sent me the wrong color. The seller immediately rectified the situation and made sure I was 100% satisfied.I highly recommend this product; it has a great look at a great value with a seller that offers great service.

Ordered these bar stools and they matched perfect for what I was wanting, but they are defective. They come in two separate pieces, the base and the seat. The seat would screw into the base about 2 inches and then would not go any further to make the seat adjustable. We worked for quiet a while trying to get them to screw together, but were unsuccessful. So I am exchanging them for a new set in hopes of getting a pair that will easily spin to change the height of the seat. I waited a week to get these stools, not a big deal, but now the new replacement stools are not supposed to be here for another week and a half that I will be waiting.

I’ll say this, they look cool. They definitely add to a modern rustic vibe. That said, Ive had them for a few months now and I’ve tried and tried to get used to these stools. They are so incredibly uncomfortable that I don’t want to even sit on them for long enough to have a meal. I would only buy these if you have no intention to sit on them. If you have an area that is sort of just for show and won’t be utilized, these are fine. Again, they do add to the vibe. But if you want something you could sit on while you’re working on your laptop or something.. I’d keep looking. They wobble, they feel uneven, and the seat is incredibly small (and I’m a petite female). I might try some seat cushions to see if that makes them bearable but for now I’m going to be using them as decor.

The wood seat is actually a nice but rougher looking wood style in different shades, rather than a shiny single toned brown color as shown in their pics.I really like this particular look even though it was not as shown. I also love that you can choose to have the seat back- on or off. Both ways look very nice.Choosing individual seat heights by a simple twist is very convenient. I am glad we ordered 2 of these stools for our breakfast counter.
