IvyRobes Unisex Adults Matte Choir Robes

I purchased this robe on the off chance I may need to wear a black robe for a funeral before I could afford to buy a quality robe. Glad I had it on hand, because I ended up officiating at four funerals in three weeks' time. I was pleasantly surprised to find that when wearing it, it doesn't look cheap or second-rate. I can definitely tell by the feel of it that it is not a quality clergy robe, but for my congregation, they don't know the difference. Additionally, because it is thin and lightweight, it is much cooler than my other robes, which can be a true benefit during warm worship services. The fabric is thin enough that any color other than black would probably be see-through (or at least shadow), but black is just fine. Because it looked so good, I actually ended up wearing it all through Lent as well, and I actually got a lot of compliments on it (way more than on my $300 robes!). Only 2 complaints: zipper is coming undone at the bottom, but that is an easy fix. And it doesn't have pockets or side slits to access pockets (for microphone transmitter). But I wouldn't expect that for a $20 robe, and this material and design is such that I could easily add pockets if I decide to. For now, I just run the cord up the inside of the robe and out through the neckline, no biggie. I don't know how long this robe will really last, but it's held up quite well for several months of regular use. Let's be honest - at $20 for a robe, I could go through a lot of these before coming close to hitting that $300 mark for a "quality" robe.

Robes were for ladies choir. Nice Matte finish. Easily ironed or dry cleaned. Red is not fire engine red which would have been hard on the eyes. More like strawberry. Excellent fit for ladies of all sizes (both full figured and regular fit). Very Appropriate for the purpose. Will purchase other colors in near future.

I purchased this robe as part of my Zurg costume for Halloween (my son was Buzz). Material is lightweight and well constructed. Fit is true to size. Very happy with the purchase.

Nice quality for the price- better fabric than the much more expensive one that it replaced! A number of people wrote that they thought they ran small so I ordered one size larger than needed- but I didn't need it. Fortunately with the pleating it hangs just fine. Really surprisingly good for the price- I may buy another color.

This is a good quality robe and better than I expected. It was perfect for the wedding I had to officiate. I even sowed embellishments on with ease and it also irons easily.

This item fits as advertised, is lightweight, and comfortable enough to wear for a few hours at a time. The fabric is rather thin and scratchy, and it seems like the zipper is the most sturdy part of the garment. For the price, this is not unexpected. This garment works great as part of a costume, but will not hold up to long term use and washings.

Just exactly what I needed, but it seems to run just slightly larger than I expected. I think I could have gotten by with the regular sizing.

Great product, used for 5'6 teenagers baptism. Perfect, and we can still use for other sizes. Taller, heavier, shorter.
