Good buy for seniors, low vision
Large display quality including day, date, time, year. Bright display with white font on black screen. Easy to see the display from across the room. Purchased for aging parent. Easy to use. Set up a breeze. Accurate display. Appreciate how easy it is to set up, use and easily integrate into bedroom decor. Would definitley purchase again. I like items that work for aging parents that aren't so obvious and tacky! this clock is nicely done!

Good value for the money!
I waited some time to give an honest review. I purchased this for my elderly mother who has dementia.I like how it displays the time and date clearly and bright. We just plugged it in and the date and time appeared. We debated whether to hang it on the wall or leave it at her bedside. The weight of it is just right that it doesnt easily tip over or slide off when she uses her nightstand to get up from bed. I like the quality of it, sturdy, easy to read, and dims automatically at night. We did have a power outage, and when the power returned the time was accurate, so this was good to know. It looks very stylish in her room. All in all, it is good for the money and does what needs to be done. We do not use the alarm

Great clock for people with dementia, Alzheimer's or vision problems
My mom has difficulty recalling what month/day of week/time of day (morning, afternoon, evening, night) due to advancing dementia. She also has advanced AMD, so her vision is limited and has difficulty reading black on white. I purchased this clock as it had the features I needed to make my mom's life a bit easier. The clock (see pictures) I programmed to be in a multi-color format (day blue, month/day/year in a red/orange and, although the time is in black/white, the font is large enough for her to discern the time. I think the color banners I just mentioned above/below help too. The clock is very easy to set up, the menu buttons are on the back (see pic). I like that it has a daylight savings time setting, so it automatically changes (it can be disabled). The clock has an alarm feature, but this is too advanced for my mom, so I have not used it, but it seems straightforward enough for someone who can. It also has a slot for an SD card so it can function as a digital photo frame. I've not used this feature. All functions and features are clearly explained/outlined in the guide included with the clock. The clock has helped and I like the clock so much that I purchased two more (total of three) and have one in the kitchen, living room and her bedroom. The photos in my review are in sequence - the box before opening all the way through the clock on the top of her microwave. It has a peg stand (see pic) and while it does the job, I've noticed that when she struggles with the microwave door, she has a tendency to knock it over, so I had to move it. Under normal conditions - setting on a shelf, etc. the stand is no issue. I'd recommend the clock for any person who has vision or other challenges with day/date/time of day. As an aside, it also has a small weather indicator to the right of the time, but it is too small for my mom to see. Two enhancements I'd like 1) the ability to make the weather indicator larger and 2) a more robust stand. The clock including the frame measures (metric conversions are appx.) 7.75 inches (19.7cm) (H) x 5.5 inches (14cm) (L), the screens diagonal measurement is 6.5 inches (16.5cm), and the screen itself measures 5.75 (14.6cm) (H) x 3.25 (8.25cm) (L). Where H=height and L=length. I hope this review helps - and if you are a caregiver, please remember to take time to recharge by taking some time for yourself.

Perfect clock for elderly/memory issues
This is a great choice for the elderly and in my case my mother who has developed dementia. It is very easy to set up. It is clear and easy to read. It is most helpful for my mom for orienting her to day, date and time. She is no longer using a calendar and marking off the days to help her remember day. It allowed me to change the color of the writing and numbers. I chose the color blue and it illuminated so well. There are many colors to choose from. The instruction book with this clock is useful and easy to understand.I would highly recommend it to anyone who has a family member with memory issues.

Stylish clock
Purchased this clock for my elder Mom who was starting to get a little confused about what day it was or whether it was morning or night. I also wanted something to help remind her when to take meds. It is a small display, but bright, easy to read and easy to set up. There are three colors of the font, white, yellow or red. I wish there were more colors to choose from. The best part is that the clock displays "pre-dawn," "morning," "afternoon," "evening" and "night" (spells out the actual word) so no one is confused on what time of day it is. Really smart design. It also reprograms the day/date/time if the power goes out or the plug is pulled put accidentally. Thankful that it has alarms and a voice indicating when to do certain chores like "take meds" "have something to eat," "talk a walk" so that my Mom continues to be able to live as independenrltly as she can. A little expensive, but for the peace of mind I get knowing Mom is safe, that's priceless.Update: It's been about three years since I purchased this. I can't seem to determine the problem but I am not able set the alarm any longer. This was a VITAL piece to my Mom's ability to live independently. I have reset the clock, unplugged it, replaced the batteries, etc...and have followed the manual to a tee ! I did not expect that after three years, an expensive clock like this would malfunction. I am very disappointed. If not able to be fixed, a replacement will have to be purchased and that just isn't right or financially acceptable.
