Quality product
This product is well made. The extra cushion over the nose provides comfort for the horse. The leather strap and metal buckles are well crafted. I ordered the full-size horse unit. It snugs up nicely for my 13.2H horse.

Feeding messy eater
High quality workmanship and materials. Thoughtful placement of soft material for horses comfort . First time he had zero waste of feed. Highly recommend seller and product.

*Draft* size is a bit small
It worked great at keeping the vultures (goats, horses and ponies) out of our Percheron's supplements, but it was snug around the nose and the straps were *barely* long enough to attach it. It would have been nice to have a couple more inches in either area so she has some breathing room. I may have to make a new head strap to loosen it a bit, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. The fabric seems durable and it served it's purpose well, but I don't expect it to last forever because horses love to destroy anything we spend our money on.

Not durable
I purchased one and it only lasted one day for my gelding. I purchased another one and it didn't last a day again. The mesh ones have been sturdier for my horse. So disappointed.

Great for powdery supplements!
Love the durability of this horse feedbag. I have used several different brands and this one is especially sturdy. It's made of a heavy canvas material with a nice leather strap. We have a mare who was spilling her supplements out of her mesh feed bag, but this one keeps them in. She will occasionally dunk it in the water trough, but the canvas seems to still keep in the supplements. I learned quickly to get the darker colors because the white canvas quickly got muddied in our muddy paddock! I recommend this feedbag!

Great nose bag.
Plenty of adjustment, and so easy to get off with the side clip. I recommend having a bucket or something for them to set it on because to get the last inch or so of feed they have to be able to push it down, so they will do it on the ground if you don't give them something else to do it on. That gets it rather dirty on the outside so I have to rinse them off once in awhile. I primarily was interested in these because I had a few mules that were hard to catch. Now if I have this nose bag in my hand they come running up and I slip it over there ears. When they are done eating I can walk right up to them to take it off. So maybe they're not easier to catch in general, but if I have that nose bag in my hand they are! I've even used it to entice my mule onto the trailer! We just have a better relationship since I stayed using them. It's a nice heavy duty bag.

They work well
I bought 3 of these feed bags. All size avarage. The up close picture was of my pony I just added an extra hole to the sides for adjusting. The holes on the side were punch a tad smaller than what the buckle was, but that was no problem for me because I have leather hole punchers on hand. My geldings took to them well, but my mare wasn’t trying to hear it. I’m sure she will come around to it with some work. My older gelding I’ve had him for 5 years I took him in as a rescue. He has always had problems with desensitizing. So I figured he’d have the biggest issue with this, but surprisingly he didn’t. He associated the bag with his meal and didn’t make a fuss out of it. I put their fly pellet feed, dewormer and other supplements (powder and grain) and they ate it all without any waste. Will definitely buy these again if I need more. These clean out well with some water and little soap with a scrub brush. Just hang to dry.
