Band size: 18mmIf you can only have one watch, this is the watch I'd pick. It keeps very accurate time and can last decades of abuse, wear and water. You can also polish the face and shroud with abrasive toothpaste or fine compound if you get scratches over the years that build up.This is what every watch should be. Simple, easy to use, affordable and reliable.I've washed this in the shower, sink and worn it in the rain and have never had water ingress. I wouldn't recommend swimming every day with it or anything, as water CAN evaporate into the housing, but it's fairly easy to disassemble to clean and dry.Here are the cons:- Get yourself a better watch band. The one that it comes with will degrade from skin oils over the years and eventually break. I prefer fabric straps like nylon bands or hook & loop.- Be careful about storing or using this in temperatures below 30F / -1C. I like it really cold in my bedroom and sometimes the watch can reset at these temperatures. When warmed by your wrist, it can still happen on occasion in very cold environments, such as when riding a bike in cold weather. Keep your wrist covered in those kinds of conditions.

My husband bought this Casio watch for himself and our 8-year-old son, and we’re really impressed! One of the best features is that the band can easily be adjusted to fit a child’s wrist, which is perfect for my son. The design is simple yet classic, and it’s surprisingly durable for such an affordable price.This watch is great for everyday wear—whether for work, going on a run, or any activity where you wouldn’t want to risk damaging a more expensive watch. The time is easy to read, and the battery life is excellent. For the price, you really can’t go wrong! We’ll definitely be buying more in the future. Highly recommend!

I love this watch already. I bought it because I owned the F91w years ago and was impressed that it didn’t immediately break like most watches I’ve owned. I like this one even more because of its size and style; and it shares the same features as the F91w. I look forward to enjoying this watch in the years to come, and building a small collection of Casio watches because I love their simplicity, reliability, and affordability.

Great basic watch. The light works pretty well. It's light and comfortable on the wrist. I like the simple time/date display. Great value. I use this on vacation and I'm never worried about it getting wet or stolen.

I bought this watch so that I can wear it in the shower and while swimming without issues (although I haven’t done the latter yet). Yes, I’m the type of person who likes to know what time it is in the shower. I read the instruction manual and it says not to turn the light on while under water. I have made sure to follow that tip and so far, the watch is as good as new after daily use for several months. The only thing I’ve noticed is that the words “Illumination” and “Water resistant” have faded a bit on the outer shell. Highly recommend this watch if you want something effective, durable, and don’t need smart features. I had a Fitbit (now dead), but now that I know my sleep patterns are fine, I no longer see a need to replace it with another Fitbit.Edit, April 2025: the strap broke off while wearing skate wrist guards :( This isn’t a new setup, so I’m not sure why today was the day the strap decided to come off. I don’t see any pins on the strap or watch face to snap it back into place. Maybe my daily wear contributed to this, but I’d hope not! I always make sure to loosen the strap a couple notches before skating, so it can sit above my wrist guards. RIP, watch

I just needed something light on my hand yet sturdy for everyday grind. This is amazing. I didn't want a smart watch cuz I didn't want to get addicted to yet another screen, and this watch is classy and simple enough to get stuff done. The size is perfect. If you're someone with a big wrist don't worry and this would fit you well. It's readability is easy!

Stylish, lightweight, dependable, can't go wrong. The only reason I'd replace it is if I need one where the backlight stays on a little longer.
