What’s the Weight limits for this product? Can I pick up a hot item 5-10lbs?

That seems to heavy. I have not tried that. Ten pounds I'm sure it too heavy and it would not break the metal but might bend it. If you are trying to pick up a turkey I suggest a heavy duty fork and maybe two forks to be safe. I would say that this device you are asking about is for items not to exceed a pound (even if you could pick up more weight). These tongs are good but not for excessive weight in my opinion.
