Good build
A decent built barlow (2x) unlike all the celestron rubbish on the market, this one is actually built with quality in mind, has a nice large solid lens in it for a good view angle, worth buying.

Worked for me.
I’m very new to using a telescope so I couldn’t tell you a good lens from a mediocre one. All I know is using this 2X barlow lens allowed me to see some definition on Jupiters surface that I couldn’t see before. Used with a 100az refractor and a 4mm celestron lens.

Useful addition
Having just bought a Celestron Travel 70 telescope I added a Barlow Lens. As this is not the most expensive 'scope, there seems little point in buying a lens which cost as much as the original purchase so this lens is very good value giving reasonable performance for a modest price. I ordered the lens and it arrived the next day, saving me a long trip to the nearest shop which stocks such things.

Perfect for increasing magnification
Simple to use, just slot in your 1.25 eyepieces into it and tighten the screw and then when viewing the object it's increased the magnification greatly. Perfect for the moon, Jupiter, Saturn and even some Nebulae.
