Perfect fit and nice material
Why did you pick this product vs others?:After buying a cheaper product that was vacuum packed and advertised as "improved design" for thinner material, these are wonderful. Nice rigid material to hold tools in place. These are a little more expensive than other options but well worth it.

Pricey but efficient
After reading all the reviews, I'm glad I didn't listen to the negative ones. I bought this for screwdrivers mainly, but ended up being perfect for other areas. They don't fit exactly lengthwise or widthwise, but the little gaps they leave just end up being perfect for other tools or small boxes. You can cut and fit, although I didn't have to.As far as the guy complaining that they're too thick (for screwdriver handles), you'd think mechanics would have more smarts for problem solving. They are easily cuttable, if you want to make room for some thicker tool parts. My screwdrivers did fit nicely, but file handles had to hang off the ends. Still keeps them in place though, don't you think?Overall, good luck finding something of the same density and size that can do the same thing. I've looked. And it's a heck of a lot easier than cutting that foam for each individual tool. I've done that as well, to help another mechanic. No thanks.I don't write many reviews, but these are nice pieces, and the low star reviews are just ridiculous....

Cleans your box up nice 😉
Definitely does exactly what the description states, cleans everything up nice and gives you a few options for tool storage. My only con to this is that the price is steep for this but I doubt that I'll have any issues with it.As for longevity.... Well we will have to see4 stars only because the value isn't there and the longevity of this is questionable

Tools look nice
Makes my wrenches look all awesome in their drawers. Mainly good for sized wrenches. Probably not good for sockets. I only needed it for 2 drawers at work but I use the other 2 at home. I could see using it for other tools or maybe even other stuff that you want to keep straight and look nice in a drawer or if you wanted to display some stuff or protect something from scratches

More versatile than expected!
I've been refining toolbox organization for a while now and I had stayed away from TrapMat because it seemed to take a lot of space to organize a few tools. As it turns out, it holds a LOT of the right things. Combination wrenches don't work too well because there are more efficient methods. But for my ratchets and extensions, utility knives, scissors, files, Allen, torx, hex wrenches and other similar items it's terrific. It's holding up well to the (minimal, I am obsessive about tools being clean when returned to their correct location) grease and oil I expose it too, and the weight of my 1/2 drive 25" breaker bar hasn't even started to crush it down. Tool grids look amazing, but keep in mind the work required to reconfigure one each and every time you purchase a new tool. With TrapMat it's a quick movement with no removal and reattachment of innumerable clips.

They work...but tall.
These do the job holding tools in place in a toolbox drawer. Most tool box drawers are about 2.5" deep and when you put these pads in there, you are left with about 1.5 inch of free height. So you cant put any bulky tools in these. Ideal for medium and small screwdrivers, socket extensions, and wrenches. Anything else is bit too bulky and drawers wont close.
