NOT the original Skinny Shirt, but....
A few things you need to know... this is not the Shark Tank Skinny Shirt. They went out of business (google it), but for knock offs, these are pretty darn close to the original. If you have an original Skinny Shirt, order a size up, these run smaller. Those caveats aside, I love these! If you have a one of those body types like mine that cannot pull off the layered collared shirt without looking frumpy or the buttons and seams showing through, you will love this! It’s so much more comfortable, and it gives the clean, tailored look you are probably looking for. I think these a priced a bit high for the material quality, but since I haven’t found another brand, this is the only game in town.

Wardrobe game-changer
For many years, I've loved the look of a crisp white collared shirt beneath a sleek sweater or a tailored blazer. But alas, something about my body type just doesn't cooperate with my sartorial aspirations. A shirt under a sweater was hopelessly bulky and rumpled-looking, even when I spent money having the shirt fitted to my torso. The blazer look worked better but still felt confining, and the collar never sat quite right. I had to content myself with knit t-shirts instead--not the same!Dickies? Just no. I can't get Cousin Eddie from Christmas Vacation out of my head. Two-for tops with white collar sewn into the neckline of the sweater? OK until the first wash, when the sweater color -- or something else from the same washload -- bleeds onto the white collar. This shirt is simply revolutionary. A slick, fitted T-shirt sewn onto the upper third of a white cotton button-down is such an obvious innovation that I can't believe it hasn't been done before. As soon as this arrived, I ripped open the package and tried the shirt on with several sweaters, some of which I seldom wear because they reveal a bit too much flesh for wintertime. It was perfect with them all and not a bit of bulk. With a blazer, it didn't work as well; I still can't wear the collar inside the blazer, but worn outside, it looks great, and I have more freedom of movement.About sizing. I bought the white shirt and would say it runs somewhat small. I'm 35.5"/26.5" and would be a size small or medium per the Skinny Shirt size chart. I ordered medium, and it's a perfect fit. The small would have been too tight.Quality. Fabric and construction are as good as they need to be. The knit part has a nice, silky and not insubstantial feel. If you buy a size down, you'll get some compression from it, although the woven part might be unflatteringly snug. The woven part is about the quality of a George brand button-down shirt from Walmart. The fabric is slightly coarse compared to, say, a Lands End shirt. The seams aren't perfect, and there are stray loose threads hanging here and there. But, once ironed and with the loose threads cut off, it looks just fine.I recommend buying the sleeveless shirt over the long sleeve. I originally planned to buy the long sleeve, but my size was out of stock in long sleeve. I'm so glad I bought the sleeveless, because it will be so much more versatile in that it will work under a sweater of any sleeve length. For added warmth under a long sleeve top, I can always add a long sleeve T-shirt. (And at this crazy price, I need all the versatility I can squeeze out.)I would love to see this shirt in more colors!

Perfect. Sizing Up MAY NOT Be Necessary.
This shirt is AMAZING. It arrived quickly and the packaging was great.First, let me say I followed the reviews and sized up from a Medium to a Large, but ended up going back for the Medium. I am 5’6, 140lbs, 32DD. The Medium fit my chest perfect. The large was super baggy. The cotton material comprising the collar is crisp but not uncomfortable, and the material for the rest of the shirt is soft and slick. In the photo I am wearing a Cuddledud shirt that I usually wear with no undershirt and there has been no bunching.I am DEFINITELY coming back for more of these shirts. The price is a little prohibitive, but I am so pleased with the result that I’d be willing to spend it.

Definitely size up!
I had been eyeing this shirt for a while and finally pulled the trigger. I’m glad I did - it looks crisp and clean under a v-neck sweater without all the bulk and constant fiddling. The collar is made of nice, thick material so it’s not floppy. This definitely runs small, though. I’m a solid medium in pretty much any top and the large fits me perfectly. The material on the body of the shirt is stretchy, but could be a little more comfortable. It’s a thick, stretchy material, and I think it would benefit from being more soft like a stretch cami. Other than that, this is a great piece to add to your wardrobe is you love the look of a crisp white collar under a sweater.

Brilliant!
I would get 10 of these if they came in more color and prints! I'm always cold at work and like to layer but I have broad shoulders and a small waist and larger chest so button down shirts always fit weird. The broad shoulders usually cause my motion to be restricted when trying to layer a button down with a sweater. This shirt fit me perfect! It's long enough to tuck in, preventing too much movement at the bottom (I do have a long torso that is often an issue). I put a long sleeved undershirt underneath it and a sweater over it and I stay warm, can move my arms, and it looks better! It's hard to find a sweater that is thick enough to not look lumpy with a button down and this is perfect for that.

I like how it fits under sweaters - especially tighter fitting sweaters. No bulk and I'm not constantly rearranging myself to look professional.

Nice top
Perfect solution. Would have liked to have gotten one with a better collar fabric --however, this was still priced correctly.

the shirt fits the bill as for having nothing blousy on the body under a sweater, but the armholes have to be cut way out in order not to bind the armpits
