Painting Case for Kindle Voyage (300 PPI, 2014 Released) Only - Cover with Auto Sleep/Wake, Café

I have a 5+ yr old Kindle Voyage that still works perfectly & has been described as Kindle's BEST E-reader. The cover that was originally purchases with my reader had seen it's day from the beating it took over those years. I read a lot & carry it with me almost everywhere in my bag. This cover is beautiful! It fits my old Voyage perfectly, the sleep mode works as it's supposed to, it's textured finish keep it from slipping from your hands & the vibrant colors make it easy to find in any room or bag. My only concern was that with the white background it would get old & grubby fast. I wipe it down occasionally with a mild cleaner & that seems to be keeping it looking like new. I like everything about this case & if I get 5 years out of this one I'll be happy.

The Kindle Voyage (RIP) is still the best version out there but cases are few and far between these days (left over stock I'd imagine).I was previously using a plain black case of the same design (if you know how Amazon sellers work, you know sellers source from the same factories) that had become very worn looking so it was time for an upgrade.Fits perfect, magnets keep the lid in place, access to the power button and the Kindle will 'wake' when opened and sleep when closed.As a fan of 'The Great Wave off Kanagawa (神奈川沖浪裏, Kanagawa-oki Nami Ura, lit. "Under a wave off Kanagawa") woodblock print by the Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai (published sometime between 1829 and 1833[1] in the late Edo period as the first print in Hokusai's series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. It is Hokusai's most famous work and one of the most recognizable works of Japanese art in the world.) it was a no brainer to grab gthe case in this design.

Really like this cover - got it in the Wave design - stunning design with great colors. Kindle snaps firmly into it, and this cover DOES have a cut-out on the back side for the Kindle Voyage power button. Picture on product page of this design doesn't show power button cutout. Quite sturdy, and case is not slippery at all ( I drop things a lot -dropped my Kindle with my old case down the stairs last week). The Kindle didn't bounce out until the case hit the bottom step, and the Kindle still worked fine. Case was cracked, though, but it was wearing out anyway. Yes, the Kindle shuts off when you close the cover, and it turns back on for you to swipe the screen when you open it up.

As of this writing one of the product photos shows an end view of the Kindle Voyage that doesn’t match mine. I don’t know if multiple versions were made, but the photo shows a Kindle with two USB ports and the text in the photo says, ‘Round Charge Light.’ My Voyage has a single USB port and a rectangular power light, yet this is still the correct case for it. The front and back view pictures seem to be right, with the correct front controls, the faceted rear case, and the power button on the back.The case itself is nice enough. It fits well. It has a nice soft inner lining to protect the screen. It turns the Kindle on and off when it’s opened and closed, and also has a hole to allow you to press the on/off button manually. The printing on it is nice. The colors are rich. If there’s anything to criticize, it’s that the ‘Faux Leather’ (plastic) on the outside of the case doesn’t scream quality. The one it’s replacing, the hinge of which has worn out after six and a half years of use, had a better look and feel. Still, it’s good enough to earn four stars.

This is a lightweight case, but it is well made and relatively strong. The wake up feature is nice and it is super easy to put on and easy to take back off again. I liked the design and it has a nice texture as well, so when you hold it, it feels good in the hands. The cut out for the power button is the perfect size and it doesn't add a lot of weight to the device, so it isn't cumbersome. The front part that flips open is thin and lies flat behind the kindle when you fold it over. This was a very good deal for a really nice product. Satisfied.

I have to say that other kindle covers were cheap looking to me and when I bought this I had zero expectations as to how the product will look. I just hope for a good protection for my device. However I was impressed not only by the look of the product but also by its sturdiness.The case is super nice and it does its job pretty well. I had my kindle cover less for three years (I protected it with a knitted wrap). Needless to say it was a hassle to turn it on and put it to sleep inside my knitted wrap. The cover has auto wake so that’s pretty neat. Would recommend this covers. They are pretty good and sturdy. I’m satisfied with my purchase.

The cover has to be used for a while so it closes completely. At first I weighted it down with my glasses. After a week or so it kept closed by itself. A NOTE TO ALL COVER SUPPLIERS - it would be nice to have a small pocket in the cover to keep notes of books being released, to do lists or whatever. It would really be a handy thing to have. I know it would be a feature I would look for on future covers for my devices. This cover is excellent and I am happy with it.

Adorable case! Sleep mode works well so far. I do wish it had back magnets to hold the cover back in place when you have it all the way open while reading. But that definitely isn't a deal breaker. The cover feels like it is sturdy and made of easy to clean materials. I also have a $30 Amazon origami case for my Voyage and honestly, this one looks like it will offer better protection overall. Due to the limited choices of covers for the Voyage, this is absolutely my favorite!
