It doesn’t just sit on your skin. It actually soaks in and I can tell it’s hydrating the second layer of skin unlike most moisturizers on the market. It has a softening effect on the skin. It feels very rich and thick, making it seem super luxurious. This is a silicone based product which means it will NOT layer well with water or oil based products. The silicone is necessary to form a barrier and lock in all that hydration. This does not clog your pores. It’s definitely for someone with dry/extra dry skin.
