Can you please provide a User guide for all the circuits?

I have two of these as I plan to give one to my grandson in December. Hopefully I can make something from it before his birthday. I Know quite a lot about electronics and hope to help him.

Can someone point me in the right direction to get a user guide for this please?

It is a fold out piece of paper which shows how to use crocodile clips, electrical circuit types, series circuit, eight component details, parallel circuits. Reference number IN5078 the 5 could be an S. I hope that this helps you.

Where can I find manual for making other circuits?

Hi there, the best advice I can give you is to simply experiment and discover what circuits you can build yourself, it's much more fun and if you want to you can record or draw what you've discovered. Enjoy experimenting!

What's the point of the gears? Seems to be no way of using them.

Your are absolutely right! The circuit comes lots of useless bits.
