I needed to take some curtains up and these were easy to use and gave me the ability to have an accurate hem depth. Wish I had found them before they will be good for dress hems etc and save a lot of measuring it’s a tape measure as one goes round a hem (always supposing the pattern is cut to the right dimensions to start with).

Not sure what to expect, having read the mixed reviews. Firstly, had 18 in the box, not 20. Secondly, they are flimsy and the edges are sharp, so might cut a delicate material. I haven't tried them on a project yet, but tested them out. They do slide on and have a strong grip and the ruler lines are clearly marked. I feel they'll be great for hemming, as another buyer said. Jury's out on how useful they'll be otherwise, but I do love to buy a bit of tut off of here!

These are the best things I have bought in years. So simple & easy to use and are the quickest and most adjustable means of doing a hem or turning. I am currently making curtains and applying the interlining & linings has been a doddle. No pins to bite me back and no misplaced tacks. I am about to do the hems (floor length) and I know before I start that the floor isn't level so they will make this task far easier than on previous occasions. I can even see a use for them when I next get round to doing a bit of wallpapering holding the lengths together whilst cutting & matching. For me, these are now amongst the top of my list of 'must have tools'.Avril Day

Would recommend as very good quality and look great. Useful for holding material in place and for very thick material too.
