Good Kit
I used this kit to create the windscreen rain sensor gel pad for a 2012 BMW E70 X5. To make complete contact with the windscreen, I had to use tape to build a form so the gel pad would be thicker. Using the procedure in the manufacturer videos did not make full contact with the windscreen, although my new windscreen was not OEM, and using too much gel flooded the light sensor. I used a cap to keep the gel out of the light sensor hole. A height of 2mm over the sensor plastic housing worked well. While placing the sensor to the windscreen you can remove it a couple times while you practice minimizing big air bubbles. I'll try this manufacturer's pad, next time. Might be easier.

Very easy to use
The product is easy to use for anyone. You don’t have to be a technician to be able to use it. Gel curing time is accurate as described. Very few and small bubbles initially when I initially attach the sensor onto my windshield, but bubbles are easily removable when I press against it harder for a couple of times. Rain sensor works well with this gel on my Audi A4 2016

Perfect for DIYers
Product works just as good as oem and only takes a minute to use and about two hours to cure. Just make sure you inject enough filler to create a dome effect on the top of the rain sensor, do not leave it flush or it will not make contact with the glass. Also do not let it get into the eye of the sensor, other than that easy peasy. Product has enough gel for three applications, I screwed up the first one because I left it flush as mentioned earlier, do not use the same needle twice or use it after you have paused or stopped pumping fluid for more than a minute, it will push out semi dry gel and mess everything up. I left a pic of what it should look like. I give four stars, I believe the product should have instructions will illustrations so you don’t mess up like I did and have to figure it out by trial and error. I left a pic of what it should look like.

Worked Like a charm.
Had my windshield replaced on my truck. 2 days later the rain sensor was dangling from the rear view mirror. Using some gorilla super glue and this goobly gook, the rain sensor is reattached and is working perfectly. Good product, easy to use.

Great product!
This product works great. I did not even know what I was looking for until I found it. It does exactly what it is supposed to do and does it well!

auto wipers work again
It works! 2018 BMW X5.A few comments:1. For this car, the entire sensor gets covered with an even layer of this silicone goo. There are no "holes" to be left in the middle or anything like that.2. I had to apply twice b/c first time some of the silicone didn't cure. I recommend squeezing 0.5ml out through the mixing nozzle before coating the sensor. Conveniently, this kit gives you enough material to try a few times.Oh, and shame on you Safelite for taking shortcuts and NOT replacing the coupling medium between the rain sensor and the glass when replacing my windshield. After thinking for a long time that BMW has terrible auto wipers, I realized that your tech didn't use anything at all to attach the sensor to the windshield.

Didn’t work
I followed the instructions to the letter. Within a day, the rain sensor gel pad disbonded from the glass.
