Installation was quick and easy. The container is clear, and I can see all the rust and sediment that is prevented from entering my Washer inlet valve. I recently purchased a really good washer and dryer set, but the washer broke down quick. It turns out we still have really old pipes; sediment and rust damaged the inlet valve. We had the valve replaced, and installed the filters. I think my clothes smell better, and feel cleaner.

I looked forward to receiving this filter unit, believing that my colored clothing was being bleached and its longevity and appearance compromised. The filter was easy enough to install and removes ALL detectable chlorine odor from the water. There is no noticeable reduction in water flow. For its filtering quality, I give the unit 5 stars.My only negative comment is the plastic washer which attaches to the water intake allows water to drip at the connection. No amount of 'adjustment' seemed to stop the leak.I like the filter enough that, if the leaking problem could be corrected, I would buy again.

I hate even having to give this piece of junk one star but its impossible to write a review without at least that.I will admit that it ***might*** be a decent filter if the attaching hardware wasn't such trash. The flex hose is complete junk, leaked like a sieve and there was no way to tighten it any further. Just really, really poorly made.I suppose it I went searching at a Menards or Home Depot I might be able to find better adapters to hook this filter up with, but shouldn't it at least come with adapters that actually work?Sent it immediately back.

A nice product and does a great job filtering water for the washing machine.

If you live in the US you HAVE to go to the hardware store to buy adapters to make it work. DO NOT go to home depot or lowes. They do not have the correct connections. If it would have worked without additional parts I would have given 5 stars.

Bought and just installed it on my old Samsung washing machine and it's great. Had to trim the small blue parking that came with it. So no leakages and my whites are very clean. Very happy.

It did not fit and leaked. We returned it for a refund.

Works as advertised. Easy to install.
