It works.
I used this as a drain for an air compressor. It is perfect. Comes with sealant on threads, has good length and the valve is strong.

So much easier to use than tipping over the compressor to drain tank.
Simple installation, immediate benefits, eliminates need to tip over air compressor to release pressure / condensation. Very solid construction / materials and can even support added connection if wanted to extend drain hose.

Perfect for my 25 Gal 6HP Compressor
Now the drain is easy to reach! It is GREAT not to have to crunch down on my knees to do a regular drain of the compresser tank, and (BONUS) you will do this MORE OFTEN because it requires so little effort.And here's a TIP: Put a small neodymium magnet on the side of your tank to keep the end of this hose even easier to reach; the terminal end of this hose just magnetic enough to keep it snug.
