Aquaterior 5" Touchless Bathroom Sink Faucet with Temperature Control Mixing Valve Cold Hot Water Tap Motion-Activated Commercial Brushed Nickel (Cups, NSF,CEC)

I needed a new faucet for an old three hole faucet ceramic sink. First challenge was dealing with the smaller than standard center hole. With the closed cell foam gasket under the trim plate I was able to work with only one threaded rod to tie down the assembly and it snugged up perfectly with no movement. Not ideal but it works well. In a "public" work environment I also added a small bead of silicone around the base of the nozzle to seal the joint between trim plate and the nozzle. I did find, with our high water pressure and the 2.2 GPM flow capacity of the faucet that I had to trim down the volume of water using the hot and cold shut off valves. Otherwise you splash water everywhere. Remember to use ½" FIP fittings for the ½" g thread connections. No leaks. Thoroughly pleased with the end result and will be installing two more.

Finally found a very nice faucet that's suitable use for our bathroom.It may sound harder than you think (to find one) when used to brush your teeth and wash your face.It needs to be natural for when you wanna scoop water with your hands, or clean the toothbrush so that distance and height of the sensor is critical. Spout reach, depending on your original faucet hole to the sink.. etc.It works nearly perfect for me.

I’ve noticed when I run the hot water long periods of times. the facet will overheat and when it turned off, it will not come back on until cools off. This is the second faucet , I talked to the manufacturer about the issue. They just seemed to think maybe I was lying and just sent me another one out never tried to figure out what was really wrong and now it’s doing the same thing ! buyer beware. Will replace it with a better unit!

It is stop working less than a month. (Installed on 3/30 and stop working 4/13) The sensor light up can hear the click sound but no water coming out. Waste of money and effort

It works but turning on and off is not smooth and has a loud noise. The water shuts off immediately when the hand is just a few inches away from the sensor. Most auto faucets in public restrooms will stay on for a few seconds even the hand moves away so it won't be on and off as you wash your hand. After using it for a few months, I finally removed it and replaced with with a regular faucet.

I bought this because I needed one in the guest bathroom otherwise, my grandchildren would be in my bathroom using my sink. My husband didn't like that. Works great looks nice.

This is a well-made faucet. It is heavy-duty, seems it will be durable. I like the ceramic valves feature - that is good news for a long life. The ability to adjust hot/cold ON TOP of the sink, vs under the sink is very important, convenient. Many touchless do not allow temperature adjustment, or it's UNDER the sink!! Installation is very easy. Sensor seems to work very well for 5 ppl using it. Surprising that it seems most (all?) touchless faucets do not provide for a connect to the sink stopper. There's no way to close or open the sink stopper! This seems true of all? touchless that i looked at. Two faults - the battery case is not well designed. It is very, absurdly difficult to open (tho i solved this by filing down the lock tabs - ez to do - works). Battery cord inside case is extremely ez to pinch/damage/sever when closing batt case. They made a channel for the wire to go, but wire won't stay in it when u close. It is also very awkward to reach under the sink to change battery. Would be much better if exterior battery cable were longer. Love that this faucet can be house current or battery. Connecting to house current solves dealing wi the battery, tho most bathroom sinks don't have an outlet to connect to. I had to build it. Other problem is sound. It is loud when it goes on/off. Not so loud in the bathroom, but heard much louder outside the bathroom. Espec bad if turned on/off in rapid succession - which is easy to do - with the motion sensor. I'm guessing all touchless have this sound issue?? Makes a 'THUNK' sound ea on or off. Mainly bothersome at night, no big deal during day. In house here, we agreed to minimize rapid on/off after 10p. All this said, I will keep and expect to enjoy for long time.

I've been using automatic faucets at my dental office for 29 years and this one is fantastic. It is very responsive and I like the high spout which allows easy water bottle filling.
