I purchased for my husband who wanted some back light for his "wall art" he's created in our bar. They are the perfect light blue light that sits behind his creations (car grills mostly with headlight areas on both sides).. the back lighting is great at night.

As I have not really been much into being flashy or drawing attention to myself in public, I find these are great budget lights to get you started and see if you even like it.They aren't very bright, but for the price I can't complain as I have gotten enough raised eyebrows from drivers while zipping around at night on my PEV Scooter.I outlined my mirrors so there is less excuse for vehicles not being able to see me and it looks kind of cool, almost like a troncycle :P

I got a few of these for a Halloween costume. It seemed plenty bright to me. Still works even if you hot glue it. It won't keep its shape without metal wire or tape or such. It does make a high pitched iiiiiiiiiii noise but it's not very loud. my only complaint is that I dropped one and it stopped working. Got my brother to take it apart but he couldn't see anything wrong. However, the company was pretty fast with getting me a replacement one.

It's fiber optic and doesn't put out a whole lot of light. Nice accent light I guess.

I sewed it into a garmet that I've been waiting aonth to wear. It looked amazing and I was very happy until 2 hours later when fully half the wore wouldn't light up. Also the inverterade a high pitched buzzing sound that was very irritatingJust save yourself some headache and get the filament stuff instead.

It lights up nicely.

This is great and easy to work with! This is the white and it has somewhat of a blue hue to it, but I don’t mind it! It takes double A batteries and does hum slightly when it is one.

Brighter than I thought it would be, works great and you get a decent amount of run time on fresh batteries. I'm probably going to modify it to run off of a USB plug.

... It's only ok. The product itself works as expected and it did the job I needed to do with zeo issue. My only criticism is the lighted wire itself isn't nearly as bright as the images indicate. I made an out door garden sculpture. Wired the EL wire into the spots required and turned it in. I thought the wire was broken, but it turns out it was just so dim it doesn't shine in day light. It does shine at night, but you have get quite close to notice. I'm sure it looks great indoors at night. It's limited to those perametres - indoors and visible in dark, DARK areas.

the electrical noise from the battery pack is enough to make me nuts in just the few minutes of trying it out. Definitely cannot use it for a costume idea. To bad. Everything else was good, but a bit to little light.

My son used this in prop he was making. The colour, brightness and flexibility were perfect for it.
