Extraordinarily nice sock. Wool socks can be scratchy or otherwise not so nice to wear. These are thick, and do expand after washing. Excellent craftsmanship and comfort while wearing boots on the job. They appear to shrink a touch after washing but they do stretch back and don’t lose their shape of structure. No touchiness. A nice buy. So much so, I purchased a second package of them.

I purchased these for a friend who spends a lot of time outside in snowy weather during the winter.
