Xtreme Bright Ultra Pocket Work-Lantern - Portable Work Light Has 9 Ultra Bright LED Lights - Powerful Magnet Built-in to Bottom

It is brighter,bigger and heavier than I expected.Size wise, it is larger than a pen or pen-light, being 0.5 inches wide and 6.5 inches long. It is solidly made out of aluminum that unscrews in the middle. It weighs 96 grams total, 32 grams of which is the batteries and 64 grams for the rest. Solid built, but heavy too. You have to provide your own 3 AAA batteries. But the 9 LED bulbs are very bright and fill up the short range very well. You could easily walk anywhere with that light, and probably could magnetically attach it to the front of a car and drive 10 mph safely. I don't know how long the batteries last.It has a very strong magnet at one end, which will attach so the flashlight sticks out horizontally. A couple magnets are also in the clip, so it can attach that way. The clip moves 180 degrees left and right. It is not the toughest clip, but it appears to have aluminum inside it so it is not weak other. I can see the clip working well on pockets and such, but it won't last forever with daily use.The major downside it is so bright that I wish it had dimmer settings to choose from, and at times a lighter flashlight might be wanted, but you can't complain too much about something being solidly built.

Wow, this is a really nice work light! The light output is excellent, with a wide spread and no blinding hotspots like some other multi-LED work lights. I use it almost daily, and I'm still using the same set of AAA batteries from when I bought this, so it seems fairly efficient. The magnet on the base is very strong, and will stick anywhere - vertically or horizontally. The magnet on the clip isn't as strong, but is strong enough to adhere it to a stationary surface. The build quality is very good. It feels very sturdy, everything seems to be watertight, and the click button feels to be excellent quality. I like that it's just on/off, without any silly blinking modes. It's simply a very good hand-held pen-shaped work light, at a very good price. I heartily recommend these, and will be adding them to all of my toolboxes, road safety kits, and a few of my emergency kits.

This flashlight is very bright and handy. The magnets on this pen are strong. The magnet on the end of the pen is stronger and will hold better than the one in the clip mainly because there is nothing between the metal and the magnet. The clip magnet is strong and will hold on most metal surfaces, however, if there is a finish on the metal such as that on a refrigerator or stove it will slide down. I think this is due to the material that is between the magnet and the metal surface; the magnet in the clip is also pretty thin. The clip also turns so you can adjust the light when needed. Even when the light is horizontal, when being held by the clip, it holds in place when turning it and leaving it at any angle.This light has been handy for working on the vehicle, fishing, and camping thus far. Since the light spreads it is great for reading outside and walking in the dark with a few people around you. This light is also perfect for outages. If you sit this light on its back on top of a dresser or table it will light up the room pretty well (this is if you don't have vaulted or raised ceilings).The material used on this light is of high quality metal. It does not feel like it will fall apart or break easily. The only part that might wear out before any other piece would be the material on the push button for turning the light on, but this is only speculation. The lens covering the LEDs is plastic.I will be purchasing more of these in the future as gifts.

I LOVE this flashlight. I have ordered 7 so far for my dad and I(some of each color). You can't beat the price. I use it ALL the time. I will garb it over my big 400 lumen flashlight in most cases. It is so versatile. Most of the others like this have a magnet on the clip or base. This Xtreme Bright one has magnets in both places. There are many uses for each of the two magnet positions. I insist on the two magnets. The flashlight is very durable. The majority of the body is metal. This gives it a great feel. Some people have complained that they have broken the clip because it is plastic. I have not broken any of mine and think that they may be being a little rough with it. The clip swivels. Coupled with the fact that there is a magnet on the clip, the swivel is very useful. At one point, I thought the flashlights were becoming defective. A couple got to where they would flicker so I began to be a little disappointed. My dad and I finally tested the batteries and figured out that they were just weak. This is common because LEDs don't really dim a lot before they stop working from a weak battery. They just turn off. My 400 lumen flashlight was doing the same thing. We replaced batteries and everything is as good as new. If you have enough interest in this Xtreme Bright flashlight to be reading this review, I would say buy one. Whether you think you need it or are not sure, you WILL find uses for this flashlight. I do not at all regret my purchase and will probable buy more for my shed and each vehicle!

I bought both the red and the chrome units and they perform identically. I own a window tint shop and use these for me and my employee to check the inside of rear windows on vehicles to point up any foreign matter that may remain on the surface of the glass after cleaning and before installation of the window tint film. These light are VERY bright and even allow me to see the outline of the glass from outside the vehicle using nearly black (3% VLT) films. If I had to describe the light output in terms of it's shape it's more a "flood" than a "spot" light.Note: the case on mine comes apart in the middle as well as the end(where the batteries are meant to be loaded) and both junctions feature finely-cut threads and rubber o-rings. Just don't think the light is defective if it unscrews in the middle! I'm very happy with this light and recommended it to friends in the auto industry who need a small, intensely bright light for their work.
