Ground Loop Isolator - Cable TV Audio Isolation Transformer,Hum Buzz TV/Noise Eliminator

Was experiencing a low hum on every input through my amp - loud enough to annoy and in increased with increased volume. Added this isolator to the cable box on the cable input the reattached the cable from the wall - problem solved. No hint of the hum, even at high volume.

This piece resolved buzzing wall speakers I had in home entertainment system with no impact to my cable system. Amazing product highly recommended!

I was struggling to troubleshoot a buzzing sound when using the unbalanced RCA outputs on my Yamaha 3080 A/V receiver. I tried RCA caps with some success, but I eventually determined that the problem only occurred when our TiVo was connected.I unplugged the TiVo from our Verizon FiOS coax cable and... no buzz.So I ordered this product to see if it would solve the problem. I attached it directly between the coax cable and the TiVo and it worked. No issues with image quality or sound quality. It just worked right out the box.My only regret was not trying this sooner!

I was having a significant humming noise coming from the left channel through my AV reciever. In trouble shooting the problem one solution was to purchase a Ground Loop Isolator. I ordered this and installed as per the instructions. This product did not work as described to eliminate the noise. A waste of money since I missed the return window.

This isolator did a great job of isolating my cable box ground once I managed to get the input side connected. When I got the isolator, the center hole on the input side was too tight and would not let the center coax wire to go in. I requested a return and ordered a second one. The second one had exactly the same issue. Once I managed to get the cable on (by using one of the two units’ output side to plug into the other one’s input) it worked fine. The quality is good and the price is reasonable. I took one star away because of all the time I had to spend to get the cable connected to it.

We have an RV that has an antenna amplifier. Our main TV audio is connected to a stereo head unit that powers separate speakers. Whenever we watched TV we would get a lot of noise coming from DC powered devices in the RV. Examples include motors, and the battery charger. I installed this filter on the TV and it has completely suppressed the annoying noise we were hearing. I also tested scanning for channels and that worked as well. It has suppressed the noise while still allowing the TV signal to come through clean.

I use external amplifiers on my TV and we had a new underground line ran for our cable, and when they did that, they switched over from grounding with the electrical panels ground… to their own ground rod, which immediately caused a 60hz sound on ALL my speakers, not even just the sub, ALL OF THEM! I tried ground lift adapters on the XLR, and grounding the coax to electrical outlets ground instead of their rods outside… and it only did a 90% hum elimination. then, today I get this adapter - screw it on…. and THE HUM IS COMPLETELY GONE! I should have just bought this in the first place! so far I haven’t noticed any issues with our X1 box’s signal… but wow this literally works exactly as it should. I’m not sure if it’s literally just a ground isolator that only passes through the coax pin w/ no sheild or what… but whatever it uses works great!

The product seemed to be good quality. It did help to partially eliminate my 120hz ground loop hum from my cable box. Definitely much less audible than without it.It also keeps the cable box from improperly sending a signal to my subwoofer amplifier when the cable box is off. For some reason the cable box was waking up my sub amp out of standby mode. But with this isolator attached t9 the cable box it doesn’t happen anymore. The standby mode on my sub amp works properly now.
