Love it
Bought for daughter’s birthday. She loves using it. Good size for her hands and sturdy for a toddler, picture quality is good, although she needs help twisting the top to get it to focus and changing the disks. Great value for money and does the job well.

Fantastic! Trigger your little one’s imagination
Engaging and educational, what’s not to loveI’m always on the lookout for innovative ways to help my son learn new things. While I read books to him, it is easy for a 2.5 year old to get bored of those. When I saw the BToys Flashlight offered an option to project planets, I chanced buying it even despite the mixed reviews. And I’m glad I did.The flashlight itself is well made, no sharp edges and easy for small hands to operate. The planets it projects are bright and colourful, making learning easy and fun. For those who complained that the images are hazy, there’s a sharpness adjuster. I used it on a wall about 9 feet away and you can see the results (Amazon Fire tablet for size comparison in the photos)! My husband was so happy with it, he spent a good 15 minutes trying it on various walls :-)If you have a tiny tot (or a grown adult) who enjoys lights and learning, this is a great toy and amazing value for money. B Toys- sell more slides for the flashlight to add to our learning collection!!

Lovely images, but hard for kids to use alone
I love the idea of this torch. My three-year-old son is getting into the moon and aliens at the moment, and he loves pressing the button on this torch to flick through the display reels. You get two reels - one showing the planets (with their names on) and one showing aliens. The reels are cleverly stored in the bottom of the torch, but they are very tough to remove. Kids can't do it on their own, as they are so securely lodged. So while the storage idea is very good, and it needs to be secure to stop the reels falling out and getting lost, it is perhaps a touch too secure. Only a small edge of the reel is accessible when it is stored, making it hard to grip and remove.Other than that, it works well. The reels are easy to insert into the torch end and to turn round using the button on the torch head.

Nice
My 2 and a half year old loves his torch. He can swap the disks over himself and focus it when it’s blury. Very nice little gift.

Discs easily get stuck
After less than a week's play the discs have become stuck on more than one occasion and the mechanism no longer works. I'm now left with a very disappointed toddler.
