I asked to upload my own QR and to customize the engraving on the back. The merchant was extremely helpful and accommodating. And the final result was perfect.To scan you need to get the right angle and light. But that is to be expected, given that the background is highly reflective...

I have to admit I was frustrated at first that the qr code wouldn't scan but I got it to scan after a few tries, they actually did a great job. My tip is to lay the engraving flat on a surface with some light shining on it, then instead of holding your phone or whatever qr scanner right above the engraving, you actually want to tilt the phone so that the camera is looking at the engraving at a 45 degree angle, the shade from this angle makes the engraving black and easy to read fit the scanner. Cool idea but domt expect it to function the way it is intended. it does not scan at all. My son got this for his GF and he would not have if he knew it did not scan.

Looks very nice. Something different. My daugther could scan my especial message and she liked it so much.

It would be easier if the code was in black so then the glare wouldn't be so harsh with scanning it, but it was a great idea and a great gift too
