Mystical Kipper Cards – January 27, 2014

My favorite kipper deck yet! They are very tiny cards tho, so if you like bigger cards, unlike me, these probably aren’t for you.

These are beautiful little cards. I initially bought them because of the artwork. This deck also features different cards that I haven't seen in my other kipper deck. The images are colorful and rich. I love that each card has different borders and colors on the front (I think white borders are awful on the front of cards). I just received the deck today and already am in love with it. I like these cards so much, I'm going to find an equally pretty little tin to put them in.

The media could not be loaded. Wonderful, small and comfortable deck. I liked it at first sight! A talking deck.

Arrived on time in good condition. The Box is a little flimsy but I thought the actual cardstock is nice. Reading all the other reviews I thought they would be super thin, but they are not. They are not too thick and riffle shuffle well. The pictures are very colorful and well done. As to the size, the other reviewers were right in that they are small ( I expected that ) so some of the details can be missed unless you study the card up close. I included a picture comparing the size to The Tarot of Dragons (regular tarot size) and The Dark Mansion Tarot ( small size ) for comparison. This is my first set of Kipper Cards, so I don't know if they are small compared to other Kippers but it is a little shorter than my Malefique Lenormand. The booklet is a little vague on how to actually read the cards, there is only one All Card spread (so I would suggest finding a book on how to read them), but their descriptions for each cards meaning is pretty good. Overall, I like them and took a star off because of the booklet and box, not because of the cards.

I absolutely adore this artists work and the marvelous symbiosis with the author. I bought this solely because of the fan I am of the Mystical Lenormand. I'll buy anything by this artist and author. They make the best team of any card creation I have yet. While I love the small sets I would really like to see a large, oversized deck with this artwork or a book. The author is very good also and her descriptions are accurate and clear.There is something a little awkward about how these sets are being marketed and described for the American market and I suspect this is why more people haven't caught on to them. Regardless, I am really happy I found them. I could not be happier with every single thing about them....unless you are talking a second larger edition and/or full color gloss art book.

This is such a great deck! The card stock is decent, the pictures are very intuitive and the meanings clear and concise. As a professional Cartomancer, I believe this is a must-have in your toolbox of divination.

Very tiny card deck. I'll more than likely buy the bigger set. They are super cute thou for a tea party. I like the bigger decks.

This a colorful little deck that has a lovely strong early-1900s vibe. The illustrations are cute and very elaborate with intricate beautiful decorative garlands around he card borders. The back of the cards is also adorable.As the deck booklet says, this is a Tarot full of people, and that's OK. Yet, I cannot relate to the people in this deck. I have another Kipper tarot, which is among my fav decks due to the answers I get, but this one doesn't do anything for me. Messages are random and unrelated to my queries and the main woman and main man being repeated, I get confused about who's who.It might connect with the deck later on in time, something that sometimes happens to me with some decks. If that were the case, I'll update this review.THE DECK> This is a mini deck that fits perfectly in the palm of a small hand, and you can carry it around in a small handbag or a pencil case.> The packaging is not really good.> The cards material is quite sturdy, but also very rigid and it doesn't favor natural fluid shuffling.> The cards borders have different coloured borders, but they aren't part of the same suite.
