Best Kitchen Tool! Worth the Price Difference to Competitors.
I had the Paderno spiralizer before this, and it did a pretty good job. However, about 6 months after using it on tough veggies, such as squash, potatoes, sweet potatoes, etc., it cracked on the crank handle, and no longer could work for anything other than very soft vegetables. I love Ali and her cookbooks, and was wanting a reason to purchase her Inspiralizer. Even though more expensive, it hasn't disappointed! Well worth the price difference, as it spiralizes the tough veggies with ease! I have to use far less muscle than what I did with the Paderno. Also, I love how you can just turn the knob to change blades, versus taking the various 4 blades out/in. It is much nicer to have an all-in-one piece, rather than a bunch of separate pieces. I also find it cleans much easier! My only complaint is that I can't get it to suction on my countertop as well as the Paderno did (removing the Paderno spiralizer from the countertop is another story). It comes loose pretty easily, and I find I have to re-suction 1-3 times while doing a tougher vegetable. Would love to get some tips on how to get a better suction. Overall, I am loving this product much more than my older one, and am happy to have Ali's official "Inspiralizer" to go with her amazing recipes! I highly recommend purchasing if you want to increase you veggie intake, eat healthier by eating whole foods packed with nutrition, or if you have any food allergies such as gluten or dairy. Ali's recipes and this tool have helped me immensely with my dietary and health needs!

Want your kids to beg you for roasted beets?
I bought this after being tempted by all the great recipes on Ali Maffucci's blog that I wanted to try. I bought it along with her two cookbooks and because using the Inspiralizer straight out of the box after a quick wash. I'm a lefty and had used the Paderno (the other spiralizer) with some issues and I was worried this wasn't going to work for me either, but I really hate chopping so I was willing to take a risk. It works like magic, it's easy to clean as long as you rinse it pretty quickly after using, there is very little waste from your veggies and it grips my granite counters very well. I put it next to flexible cutting boards to collect the noodles or slices and off we go! My kids are always amazed at the length of the veggie "noodles" we can make. It's easy and safe enough for my 9 year old to use with some help setting the veggies right and my kids are enjoying vegetables from beets to daikon all in fun noodle forms.

It's a little overrated
I heard so much hype about this product. It's ok. IT doesn't stick to the table very well and it will not do large veggies. Sometimes it is difficult to clean but it does go in the dishwasher which is a major plus. You have to either have a second person hold the thing down or use one hand. The tray comes out where the bowl goes so the veggies cannot make it into the bowl. I end up putting parchment paper down to catch the veggies cuz they go everywhere. Just like the pic. They go down. It is quite messy. IT does work though which is much better than the other three spiralizers I have purchased in the past and returned. I can do small to med onions and even bell peppers.

Great Spiralizer!!!
I bought this Ispiralizer model after endless reviews on Amazon, You Tube, and the Internet consumer reviews. It is by far the easiest to use, clean, and operate. I am satisfied. I did also buy the Paderno 4 Blade for the "Angel" hair blade only. I found it to be not the easiest to assemble (as the Inspiralizer had no real assembly). Instruction little booklet with the Paderno was really not well constructed or easy to follow. Also another difference is that the Inspiralizer suction is the best and the Paderno you have to work at making sure the 4 small suction cups are holding. So, I am keeping both. But again it is because I needed the "Angel hair" blade. I'll be using the Inspiralizer most as it is easier to use.

Eat more vegetables!
FINALLY, I have found something that makes me excited about my meals and eating vegetables! Before purchasing The Inspiralizer I had purchased a hand held spiralizer from my local supermarket. It worked but only gave me one type of noodle and was truly a workout. The Inspiralizer is wonderful. Super easy to crank the vegetable and easy to clean. The only trouble I've had is with the bottom suction cups on my counter. I believe it would work great on a granite or rock countertop, but I've been able to keep it pretty steady while cranking by placing it on a towel. The small instruction manual inside the box is super helpful and even gives you great suggestions for the best noodle type for specific vegetables and a few recipe ideas. So what are you waiting for... purchase this and stock up on zucchini, potatoes, squash, cucumbers, carrots and more and get to spiralizing, you won't be sorry!

I wanted to like it!
Having used it, I am amazed by the good reviews. I bought it based on them, and I even bought the book. After I ordered it, I found two for sale in a local thrift store for $5. That was a red flag. Since I began using it, I have had several problems. It does not adhere to my counters. As a result, it slides, which makes using it very difficult. If you have a second person to help you, that would make it easier. On hard vegetables I have had to apply enough pressure to turn the handle that I felt I would break it. I also have to reposition and/or reattach the vegetable because the prongs on the end with the handle come out repeatedly I watched YouTube videos, and I see it being used with the handle in front or to the right. If you position it with the handle on the right, the green knob that controls the type of cut is in an awkward place. I have had bad results with cucumbers and apples. My Vegetti does a better job on zucchini, and it is easier to use. The Inspiralizer also often cuts chips or crescents, not noodles. It also seems to propel them, and they end up on the floor.
