Length of both sizes, not counting the bulb is eight inches. The 10 ML volume pipette is 12 millimeters in diameter and the 5 ML one is 10 millimeters in diameter.

Q: Are these dishwasher safe?

I wouldn't recommend it. That will never get the inside completely clean. Buy the appropriately sized brush and wash by hand. They sell these brushes on Amazon.

Q: are they autoclavable?

I'm not sure- they are great product but have the rubber blue part on end which can easily be taken off and you can put the glass part in autoclave. :)
