This device is an excellent tool
Makes tenderizing your toughest meats a snap! It disassembles easily and cleans up well in hot soapy water. Reassembling it does take a bit of patience but the results are well worth the effort. I would buy it again for sure. Use care when using as it does not distinguish live flesh from food, lol! Loads better than the old hammer tenderizer.

It does a good job
Does what is intended. Did a good job. Little hard to clean but worth it

Good device with some issues
It does the job of tenderizing meats but I feel the spring tension is too high. It takes more effort to push down than I would have thought. Also this came with no instructions so I had to look on youtube to see how to take of the guard to clean it.

Turned my rubbery round steak into a "cubed" steak
This is my new favorite tool, and I love a good tool! We fill our freezers with home grown beef, and frankly I have been trying to pretend that the round steaks aren't there. In desperation I purchased this gizmo, mostly thawed out a bone-in steak the size of a serving platter, and started punching holes in it with this bad boy. I probably beat that chunk of meat up more than necessary, but it was good for my mental health. A quick pan fry later and it was delicious. We used our butter knives to cut it.I do love stupid directions, and this thing had some good ones. "Don't use it directly on your counter top." Duh. "Don't use it on bones." Double duh. And if I remember, "Don't put your finger under it when bashing the heck out of a piece of meat." (I may not have these exactly right because I am relying on my 67 year old memory.)Also, it was a snap to clean. A quick rinse in hot soapy water and we're ready for the next piece of shoe leather!Great $39 (or so) investment!

Meat tenderiser
One of the handiest gadgets I've purchased. Works great on tougher cuts of meat and if you plan to spread your chicken or pork cooked on the grill

Easy to use
Works great

Poor Quality
Not very sharp. Requires quite a bit of force to use properly. I have other units like this that perform much better
