It can be used directly out of the box, with the basic options, but when you read the manual the thing is fairly easy to program and then you get some fantastic "professional level" control abilities. AND, you can actually control the unit via an attached computer, using the app! Allows you to record everything directly to a USB stick as well!

Even tough there is many different models on this fixture, it works perfectly. I would recommend to any one.

Simple... This device works, very limited. It's not an ISO recording device (it does not record multiple cameras individually). Would not update firmware or connect to the internet. Yes, a little learning curve and you really have use this device as a post production switcher in my usage case. If you buy it, not a bad product at all when using for extremely simple things as a podcast (small personal things).Just glad I had a backup plan. I bought the Mini Pro a month ago and have successfully used it for live streams four times. Unfortunately, I can't get the app to work. (I'm on an iPhone 14 Pro) The app opens on my phone, but does not "find" my splitter. I have entered my IP addess into the device, but no go.Additionally, I've downloaded the Xpose software on my PC, Windows 10, and can install it. But every time I open it I get a message saying "this app won't run on this computer."I have reached out to RGBLink customer service through their website four times over a three week period. I get a boiler plate email saying they've received by inquiry, but no one from the company has followed up to help my with the app or the software.I need the software to work so I can put a watermark on the live streams. I need the app to work so I can control camera switching from my phone, instead of walking over to the splitter for each switch.The functionality of the product is good. But the lack of support is ridiculous, especially with four inquiries outstanding that I know their system received. You might want to consider a different product if the app and software aspects are important to you for this splitter.

El equipo es de mala calidad, con botones que no responden al primer toque y se calienta demasiado. La unidad que me enviaron NO GRABA en memoria externa aunque hace el procedimiento. NO CUMPLE CON LA FUNCIÓN PRINCIPAL PARA LA QUE FUE ADQUIRIDO. LO DEVUELVO MUY DECEPCIONADO.

Very good switcher with top of the line professional features. This thing is a beast. It has a lot of the features you will use in a live streaming setup. Only area of improvement would be with being able to offset the audio to sync better with the video on live streaming projects. You can make adjustments, but I would like to see further improvements in this area. Still all in all this is a great product for the price.
