How you prevent Amazon from using excessive plastic delivery packaging for plastic free product like this?

You can try to request it from the Amazon customer service reps but I don't know if it will work. When you purchase "prime" free 2 day delivery, you will get whatever packaging Amazon wants to send you, because it will ship from Amazon's warehouse using their materials and equipment. Biodegradable packaging costs more so they save money by using plastic mailers oftentimes.

If you click to buy from us as a 3rd party seller (non-prime), then it will be shipped by us (No Tox Life) directly and we will use our usual biodegradable packaging. We spend 2-4 x normal materials prices to use biodegradable packing materials such as paper envelopes, paper tape and cornstarch compostable packing peanuts. We ship daily Monday-Friday and ship Amazon orders within 12 hours except for on postal holidays. USA orders will arrive in 2-5 days typically.

how do you use it?  rub a dish brush over it, sorry if this is a stupid question....

This is the best way I've found that works with our product:

Get sponge or dish brush lightly wet. Rub sponge/ dish brush on Dish Block® to get some soap on there. Rub sponge/ dish brush on dishes to create lather. Doesn't take much, and if you use a ton of water the dishes will be less bubbly. Stack up a pile of soapy dishes, I usually stack up 5-7 dishes. Then, to save space, rinse that stack of dishes and place on drying rack. Turning off water between each time to make sure you save water. Then, start soaping up the next stack of 5-7 dishes, and rinse those.

Make sure you rinse sufficiently to remove all soap. If using soap more generously to try to make a big lather, the soap may require extra rinsing.
