Q: Does this valve actuator have a manual override ? In other words can the valve be opened or closed in a no power situation?

Actually if the auto drain is in the open position you can disconnect it from the handle with a wrench and manually close the handle but if the auto drain is in the closed position it blocks the handle from opening.

Q: Will this work on cable driven valteera valves ? I under how it hooks to rod but does cable valves have a different set up we’re cable connects to val

This unit does not use a cable at all. It is electric and needs a 12v power source. It comes with a switch you use to open and close the valve.

Q: No 12 volt battery on my trailer always plugged into ac, can you use a ac to dc converter with the barker auto drain (pyramid ps9kx converter)?

Yes 12vDC is 12vDC. There may even be a possibility of using the 12v from your trailer lights which it certainly must have. You would only need to be plugged into your tow vehicle to use the valve. Just need to check the load so you don’t overload the circuit and blow a fuse.

Q: What size wire is needed to Install the switch farther than 4 feet from the unit?

I simply added on the needed length (about 4 feet) using the same size as the valve came with. This seems to be a common issue as the length supplied is to short for many applications. Mine has been in use for three years with no issues.

fit for purpose.

not installed yet.we have a motor home work shop. similar product were fitted on our customer's motor homes and RV, simple to install and practicalit will be nice if the provide addition 5 meter of extension wires.
