Oversized firing pin holes can cause the following problems: A: Cratered primer strikes...caused from the primer material flowing into the gap between the hole and firing pin. B: Stuck firing pin causing out of battery or slam fires, this happens when debris from the primer or brass gets blown back into the firing pin channel causing the firing pin to stick.
