Robert Allen MPT01597 Avery Classic Ironstone Metal Planter Flower Pot, 8 Inch, Chamomile

I love these for the fall/winter months. My front door is red and my small porch (more like a stoop) is gray. I put cedar and boxwood plants in these, and they enhance my otherwise very boring front porch. They are very shiny and are sturdy enough to not fall over. Very pleased.

I love these pots. I’m not sure what they are made of but they are nice and lightweight. I bought a few live plants on Amazon and all the pots I already own are way too large for my new additions. I repotted one into this pot and it looks awesome in it. The plant does have some dead parts on it so I thought maybe it needed a bigger pot and sure enough it did. The roots were all bound up in the pot it arrived in so it’s a good thing I moved it to my new pot and it looks great. I am so happy with this pot, I went ahead and bought another. Aside from a few more dead leaves my plant looks great in it’s new home. Great looking pots.

This pot is way too expensive (about 2x) for such a tiny pot. I clearly have a problem visualizing real life dimensions because, although proper measurements are given, I was so surprised by how small this pot actually is! For perspective, the top/opening diameter is just a bit larger than a “plus” iPhone. It’s my own issue but, for anyone else with this challenge, be aware.Beyond the size, the color is slightly different than I expected too; it’s a darker claret with several black speckles to mimic ceramic glaze. From the phot, I believed it would be a brighter, candy apple red. It’s still a beautiful, rich tone which serves my purposes, just not ideal.Complaints aside, I find the pot to be good quality “toleware”. Sturdy while light weight with a nice addition of a tight plastic stopper in the bottom hole which is easily removable as necessary. I have no experience of how it ages or braves the elements (mine will stay inside).So, I only recommend buying this on deeply discounted sale if possible. Otherwise, not worth the price for non-ceramic.

I had hoped it would have been bigger. It is well made and I will use it. I probably misread the dimensions.

This pot was well worth the buy. I like that it's lightweight, a beautiful red color, and that it's not plastic. It's metal, but it looks ceramic. It also has a plug on the bottom for drainage. Beautiful pot!

My living room is gray and red. This pot fit great with the decor. Pot is sturdy and attractive. Good buy!

Got this for my mom. She loves the color and how lightweight it is. Looks like it'll be heavy and then you pick it up and are like whoa!

This is a very nice planter. It's not a true red, like in the pictures online. I'm going to keep it because I need a reddish planter. It is lightweight, which I like, and I needed one with a drain at the bottom like this one has. It will serve its purpose. Too bad, you can't find a true red planter anywhere that I looked.
