Who needs Waxies?
Along with everything else in 2020, we're now in a shortage of waxies in my area. I ordered these up just before I was able to find a dozen waxies at the gas station for 3 bucks. I performed a test with both with the following results. The GULP bait was hammered on by the panfish. It retains form, stays on the hook, and doesn't get mushy like a used waxie. The smell is potent. They must be made from fish guts because the stench is overpowering on the fingers and lingers for hours. have your sanitizer ready in the truck when you're done for the day. Fish seem to love it and I caught an even mixture on the GULP and waxies. Price wise, the GULP are a superior value to the waxies. More for the money and zero dead loss. If I had to pick one or the other, I'd definitely take the GULP. Easy to fit in the pocket and no sawdust residue. Wish I'd have discovered this item sooner!

Used this a few times for crappie fishing & it works. Has a slight odor & they do feel like the real thing. Will be a must in my tackle box

Caught a fabulous trout!
We mostly just pinch these into thirds so that my three young kids can catch endless bluegill, but a few days ago I shoved three of these onto a weighted hook, tossed it into my local lake, and was rewarded with an 18 inch trout.Now, in fairness, I'm really bad at fishing and I have to admit that there have also been 4 or 5 days where I've been troutless all day on this and every other thing I've tried. But my kids and I are up to 2 trout with these maggots and 0 other (non-bluegill) fish with everything else. That should speak volumes.

Great replacement for bait
If you are like me going fishing almost everyday buying worms gets pricy! That’s why these were great I’ve caught, bass, crappie, perch, bluegill, catfish, chubs and other species on these! Multiple ways to rig you can use under bobbed or jighead with a few of these, you can tip crappie jigs with these too, I love the size as it allows for you to catch small fish and if you want a bigger fish you just add a piece and so on. I highly recomend this product for any angler! Please rate my review if it helps it is unbiased and I paid for the item.

Misleading measurements
Just got my Gulp bait in today and I have to say I was disappointed! The product description states they're 1in in length. Maybe if you stretch them when you measure them. They're more like 1/4in to 1/2in in length. The price was good but it would be more expensive and time consuming to send it back. Overall I'd wouldn't buy this again. Amazon sells other soft baits like this that are better.
