Great cordless can opener
Just use batteries and doesn't use up counterspace. Just set on the can lid, press the button, let it ride around, after it's made a full rotation - press the button again to stop it.... lift and the lid comes along. You can place the lid back on to cover leftover dog food in the fridge or other canned foods so you don't need to use a different storage container. (Store opened foods properly and use within a reasonable time, obviously...) Anyways, it opens cans. If you need a can opener, this will do it.

Best can opener I have found!
This is my second Tornado, the first one lasted over 10 years. I eventually replaced it because it had become too slow. I suppose the motor was giving out. The new one is fast and opened a can with a very clean edge. There is a bit of a learning curve to get the hang of engaging the opener with the edge of the lid on the can. But once you learn how, it is very reliable. I highly recommend this can opener.

You have to buy this can opener!!
This is a really GREAT can opener. Best invention I've seen in a long time. It works exactly as it says. It is very easy to use and you never have to worry about cutting your fingers on the lid or the can. Just set it on and push the button. It has a strong magnet that holds onto the lid when it's done. It's easy, convenient and small enough to store out of sight, though it's pretty enough to leave out if you choose. And the price is reasonable. I'm glad I bought this instead of the ordinary can opener,, which I have used all my life.

Works, but cuts oddly
4 stars. This can opener is awkward at first. Despite directions, I couldn't figure it out or how it worked. After several failed attempts, it worked. Now it's fine. Important to note this does NOT open a can in the way every other opener does. Rather, it cuts just below the outer rim, instead of above it. Small size, easy storage and easy clean up is a plus. Only downside is tuna can't be drained by pushing the lid to squeeze out the water. This cuts the can so that won't work. Other than that, it was well worth the price!

DOESN'T WORK
I had such high expectations for this can opener after owning a similar one for almost 10 years.I put brand new batteries in it, put it on a can of green beans and pushed the button. it's slow and it doesn't release itself when finished. I had to pry this can opener off of every can that I've used it on. I replaced the batteries thinking I just got a bad batch of batteries, but nope, problem still there.I threw this in the trash and went back to a manual opener.Don't waste your money :-(.

This can opener works!
This is the best hand held battery operated can opener! Super easy to place properly on the can. Just press the button and it immediately starts. Easy to tell when it's done cutting. Just press the button again to stop it. Lid lifts right off with no sharp edges to worry about. I bought two extra to keep in reserve!

Hands free kitchen helper
I first heard about this item from the TV commercial's and later decided to check it out on line. I liked the idea of working with a hands free devise and eliminating one less appliance on the kitchen counter. It's quite, easy to use and fits comfortably in your hand and drawer. I've used it on small sauce cans as well as the large one's with absolutely so problem or chance of cutting myself. I love it and would highly recommend this item to anyone.

Great can opener
I love this can opener. I had one before and it finally died. I wanted the exact same opener. Most of the time the magnet lifts off the top cleanly. It does seem to have a difficult time if the top is more than slightly dented. Ok, that's how I killed my first one. Will buy another when this one dies.
