All of the Metal Earth products are 3D after being built.

No glue at all is required. You will want a pair of tweezers and needlenose pliers, though.

Q: How many pieces is this? What level difficulty compared to your other products would you say this ranks?

It's 2 sheets of thin metal that totals maybe 20 or so pieces. I found it to be on the higher difficulty level and I've put together 12 of these kits. There's quite a bit of fine bending that has to be done so be careful. I love these models especially the aircraft and tanks. Fyi the tanks have the most pieces and are by far the more complex.
