We love the way it looks. It makes it so much easier to hook up out 5th wheel. It is nice and heavyweight. It is very nice quality and heavy. Was easy to install. The corner got damaged in shipping, not enough to hurt the installation. The company was quick to help us and offered a partial refund to help.

The product is made if steel and very sturdy. This product does not "squack" going down the road like other plastics do. The open back allows me to reach through instead of reaching over the tailgate to connect the brake cord. The powder coating is quality. No rust coming from inside the tubing as is common on poorer quality powder coat applications.

I got this for my Ford F350, after I forgot to drop the tailgate when I was unhitching the fifth wheel. Luckily not much damage! The tailgate itself is a good fit, and seems well built. I like the finish enough that I may not repaint it gray to match the truck.It was easy to install, with one exception, hence the four stars instead of five. They supply bushings for the bottom pivots on the gate, but not the slotted one for the passenger side. I had to take the one out of the factory gate to make it work. Since I'll be switching back and forth, that will be inconvenient. Since the part I got was model specific, I'd think they would have this figured out.

Great tailgate for the money, fits well and is very sturdy. The only issue is with shipment, I had ordered two through an RV store and both came in with a slight ding either on the left or right panel side bottom which causes the paint to chip. Not a biggie, but you should not have to deal with that. I did not accept either, but the RV place no longer wanted to order for me. I went with Amazon as returns are easy and that one also arrived with some slight damage. Just decided I was not going to get one with no damage so I kept and installed. Overall very happy even with the ding.

The tailgate for my pickup was easy to install,very sturdy and fit percectly. couldnt ask for anything better

This product works well. We've had one on our Dodge Ram for years now and just bought one for our Ford. Does the job as needed when not abused. (ie. don't have your hay guy drop the top bale of the stack on your tailgate... probably wouldn't hold up? The original didn't thus us buying this one. ;-) )

I love this! I have an F250 and this tailgate fit perfectly. It works really well. I personally did not put it on, but my boyfriend did and he did it pretty quickly. Mine came with a small dent, but it looks fine on the truck, so I kept it. The price is very fair.

Nice product, easy to install, took some time adjusting the closures but it opens and closed nicely, only issue box arrived without any physical damage, but once end gate was removed from box noticed bent metal on the top of drivers side of the end gate see picture, and the round coupler on the drivers side was egged the picture is after i bent it back round with a channel lock, I used a rag and a channel lock to straiten the bent metal on the top of the end gate, hope this doesn't cause the paint to start failing. Nice product but shipping box needs to be improved and by reading the other reviews I am not the only one seeing this problem. I would give it a 5stars if it hadn't arrived damaged

Exactly what I was looking for.Sturdy, nice looking, well-made, fits perfectly on my older pickup exactly as advertised. Very happy with this purchase. Shipped on time, was delivered on time.It does come with two pins to keep it securely attached when in the up position, but they do not lock. I am looking at switching them out for keyed locks to avoid theft. No tailgate cables are included so be aware you need to already have them or buy them separately.
