Ceiling fan capacitor was golden!
We pulled the older style ceiling fan we love apart and cleaned the inside. Motor ran great but noticed the motor wasn't getting voltage from capacitor. Got the new replacement in and bingo...we are back up and running....

Fast delivery, good packaging, works great on 3 speed fan.
I had some problems with replacing the original capacitor because of the fan's wire colorings were incorrect and difficulties with the fan assembly connection. This capacitor is labeled so that helped immensely. After getting everything assembled correctly, works great.

Same part number different color wires.
The product is good quality. Its also the same size and so on. The part number is identical, though the wires are a different color that being the case you will need to make you some notes and a diagram.

Didn't Work for our fan
We tried this and it did fit in our ceiling fan, but the fan overheated. I don't think it was this parts fault, just an old ceiling fan we were trying to rehabilitate.

Fixed my fan when it quit turning in the normal direction
My ceiling fan would work in reverse, but it would not spin in the normal cooling direction. Replacing that fan would have resulted in my wife wanting me to replace numerous fans so they would match. I cut out the original capacitor which I could not find an exact match for. It had one input, and three outputs of similar microfarads. This was the closest match I could find. I connected it with wire nuts and voila. My fan works again.
