Package had been opened
The clamshell package had already been openedm, so I have know idea if this is new or not or a previous return. The item appears to be intact and functional, but should have been discribed as "open box"

Got it up and running
Needed adapter to get trolling motor and fish finder to communicate. System up and running. Easy plug and play.

Worked great, minus the jab at MinnKota/Humminbird
Works great. The connection was made easy. It is a very annoying that Minn Kota requires an adapter cable to use your motor with their own sister company Humminbird. They could take a lesson from Apple, and make all of their own stuff interface automatically. User friendly, and not require you to purchase the adapter unless you went outside the family with Eagle or Lowrance fish finders. Way to stick it to the guy who just spent $2000 buying your product.

2 clicks and it's connected off the universal sonar on the trolling motor
It works as advertised. If you have a Minn Kota Terrova, Ulterra, or the upcoming Ultrex (by the time you're reading this you might have one), this will get you connected to a fish finder close by to the trolling motor. Just make sure when you plug it in that one notch is not connected. You need 2 clicks until this is fully connected.

Great price and legit HB product
These are legitimate HB parts and not knock offs. Great way to save some money on the otherwise over priced accessories that HumminBird requires that you purchase in order to use the over priced depth finders. What a scam.
