Our kids have had LED light strips in their bedrooms for years.Traditionally they’ve had very poor adhesion and the quality of lighting and use very poor.Usually bundled with a very cheap IR remote control.These Govee lights are definitely a cut above the standard ones.Firstly the adhesion is incredible. They are so sticky and hold fast to the wall or ceiling instantly giving you real confidence that they’ll stay put for years.Secondly, the light output and colours are brighter and more of the actual LEDs along the strip. They are dimmable, colour changing and other options too. Which leads onto the third thing that sets these apart from the other models.They come with an app for both iOS and android. Once installed and connected to Wi-Fi the lights will update. Yea, the LED strip will connect to the internet and update. Crazy.Once updated, maybe 5 minutes.The app is very well put together, here you can change the colour options, brightness and even scenes. You can set a bedtime routine where the lights will dim over a period of time until they switch off. A morning routine where they gradually switch on and brighten to any colour of your choice.They can react to music and sounds. The list is endless.Finally there is a physical push button built into the lights where you can physically switch them on and off.An absolute great purchase and brilliant price. £20 for 20 metres of light strip that will easily enable you to have lighting around the bedroom/living room or kitchen.

I’ve had these lights in my room for about a year now and they’ve been amazing. The quality is honestly better than I expected—they still work like new and haven’t faded or peeled off the wall.The colour options are endless, and being able to control everything from my phone through Bluetooth makes it super convenient. Whether I want a chill vibe or something brighter, it only takes a few taps. The app also has presets and custom modes which are fun to mess with.Overall, these lights make the room feel way more alive and they’ve held up perfectly. Definitely recommend if you want affordable RGB lights that actually last.

Not the brightest or most colour accurate lights but for the price they get the job done with some nice bluetooth based features in the app. For 30m worth of LEDs its a good valie for money. Disco mode control in the app can be fun also, picking up audio from the built in Mic or from your phone.

Bought these when they were on a hot deals offer. Not much cheaper than now.Fitted today.Very impressed. Easy to install. Read previously they don’t stick well. Not the case. Very good and they won’t fall down.App easy to do, the music sync is very good.Lights are bright and there are a range of colours.Very impressive product. Never had anything to compare them to but little girl loves them.I’d highly recommend these.Plenty of lights don’t worry about not having enough. 😂

First time purchasing from Govee and certainly won’t be the last. Even from opening the product you can recognise that the product inside (in my case a standard 15m LED light strip, nothing special) will be nothing less than expected.Installation - 4.5/5Lights are well packed and don’t get tangled during installation if you let the ring containing the lights hang loose. Tape got in the way a couple of times but can be ripped off at any point for ease (realised this later on).Adhesive - 5/5The adhesive is sticking really well and goes well with corners - two ridiculously common problems I have had with previous light strips. In my case the lights are stuck around a bedroom wall and have stuck well to the wall so far.A nice addition is the small piece of adhesive on the control box. I won’t be using that most likely because of the robust app that goes with these strips but it’s nice not to have a wire dangling all over the place for no reason.Quality of lights/brightness - 5/5No complaints about the lights - they work as they should.App - 5/5Brilliant app with plenty of features. No sign in required, or ads, just need to search the model number of the lights and connect via Bluetooth to control. Lighting changes smoothly when changing colours and is never delayed.Overall, this is a great product so far (will update my review if anything changes). You can tell that the products flaws were identified early on and ruled out to create a robust end product. No complaints from me.

This product is good, the adhesion is excellent, it’s also fairly energy efficient given the level of brightness which is also decent, it can comfortably be used as a rooms main light source. But there are a few issues to note. Firstly as you go along the strip the brightness and color accuracy begin to fade noticably, this is expected in long led strips at this price range though and it would be hard to find one with no fade at all (see photos, the left side is the start and the right side is the very end of the strip) however what I have a issue with is the spots where the leds emit a different color then the others surrounding it, this seems to only happen on the white setting about halfway through my strip but I don’t mind too much. It’s also important to note it does not have a individual white led and instead simulates the white light (this is why the color accuracy appears greenish yellow towards the end) I’d reccomend this product as it’s a single strip, bright and efficient but do be aware of the brightness fade and in accurate white light.
