My kid got one of the windows in his room out of it’s track. He had to also break a latch off the window to get to where he could remove the window. It’s a miracle the glass didn’t break. I don’t know how he was able to break the latch and I couldn’t get it back on of course.You may be wondering why I didn’t stop him from doing it in the first place. I was watching the Vikings paste the Giants in New York, even though the stadium is in East Rutherford New Jersey. Go Vikings.Now that he knows how to take it out I had to immobilize the window somehow. The short term solution was to use a vice grip to jam the window closed. Does the kid know how to use a vice grip? No, but I bet he can figure it out! Long term solution is these clamps. They come with Allen wrenches with wings that make instillation super easy. He watched me do it so as long as I keep the wrenches away from him he 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑦 can’t get the window out again. I think it’s worth noting that this same child once pulled a doorknob off a door without removing the screws. Seriously. The doorknob was in another room but the screws that hold it in place were still in the door. At least he didn’t lose anything we needed to put it back together.This product served my purpose very well. There is foam on the inside to prevent metal on metal contact but once tightened it stays securely in place. For my situation these were worth every penny.

My 6 yr old son is non-verbal and has autism. That has not stopped him from opening the standard window lock and opening the windows to get on the roof of our sun room. These locks work as advertised and being able to use a key has stopped him from trying to open the windows.

This worked like a charm. After installing a portable A/C, my wife wanted a piece of mind to prevent anyone from opening the window from the outside om being open and these window locks gave that to her. I installed one at each side. The installation was very easy!

Work exactly as one would think. Very solid aluminum, with rubber inserts to protect window channel from damage.I really like these. There may be other types of locks, maybe better ones, but I have not owned those.And these are great.

So easy to place on window love how easy to remove when you need to open window. I feel safer with placing on every window, the quality and design is so functional for your money spent.

Put em on 4 windows and it adds a level of security because its tight! I can't move it and I tried. I also tried opening the windows and they dont budge. I feel better with these in addition to locking my windows. It was easy to install

This right here .I got this because I have an autistic son that likes to open windows and escape..buying this has literally save my son on not escaping..if u have an autistic child..just don't let them see u how to lock it ,because then they will look for the key and figure it out 😭 ...but I recommend it 👌

Disappointed that these ones didn’t come with the foam protective spacer. But I guess I didn’t look as closely as I should have. Works ok. Easy install, easy adjustment, easy removal, not sticky, good fit. Nice that they came with an allen key for each lock. Durability seems ok but I just got them so I’m not sure yet.
