Adonit Dash 2 - Fine Point Precision Stylus for iPad, iPhone, Samsung, Android, and Most Touchscreens - Silver

The media could not be loaded.          I was debating between the Adonit Dash 2 and the Adonit Jot Pro Fine Point Precision Stylus. But I'm glad I spent a little more and went with the Adonit Dash 2. Just because it doesn't have the extra plastic circle piece at the end that seems to break off frequently, requiring your to replace it. I only had the stylus for a couple hours, but it does exactly what I want with it. I am able to draw, doodle, and make some notes.I like that it doesn't require bluetooth connectivity. All you have to do is turn it on and it works. The usb charger they give you is magnetic which I have never seen before. It is pretty cool way to charge something.It would be perfect if they somehow added pressure sensitivity to it. But it doesn't have that. Which is okay, because I'm not really doing anything that requires it. I'm just using it to doodle.I'm using it with the Samsung Tab S2. It works fine with it out of the box. All you have to do is turn on the pen and it works. It is responsive and accurate. It was exactly what I wanted.

The pen itself is solid and wonderful to hold. The weight and balance feel good, and the small tip feels great to use. The drawback is in the iPad I'm using it with. On an iPad Air 2 it is impossible to draw a circle because the device is always trying to square off the input. Slow angular lines get squared, so handwriting is mangled a bit, and some extra lines get added. For instance, writing a lower case "e" will often result in an inverted L shape.All of this means that the stylus and iPad together produce quite unsatisfactory results when I try to take handwritten notes, do UI mockups, etc. This is not a good replacement for pen and paper. However, it is a huge improvement over using a finger in applications that require some precision control over existing UI. Editing spline points in Autodesk Graphic, or manipulating parameters in synthesizer apps is a great experience.This is a great, well made stylus, be be honest with yourself about how much functionality you will really get out of it.

I am a first year veterinary school student and for my first quarter I was hand writing all of my notes. Well I guess I write too much and too hard and my right hand started showing carpal tunnel syndromes. I had to switch to writing on my iPad and was searching for the perfect stylus. I tried the rubber ones, the capacitive ones, the adonit jot...none of them were smooth/accurate enough. Until I tried this one per my roommate's recommendation! This stylus is AMAZING. I love that you don't have to connect with bluetooth so you can use it on any device at any time! The click on/off is so convenient and the charge lasts forever. It's very accurate and writes smoothly. So far I've gotten straight A's and I don 't want to say it's all because of this pen, but.... ;)

Purchased this as a gift. The recipient is thrilled with it and finds it easy to use. The clever USB charger makes it easy to keep charged. Works like a charm with LG G4. Stylish stylus and singularly spectacular design and build quality.Edit: Update on product lifespan. 15 months of light use and careful charging and storage and the stylus will either no longer take a charge or won’t stay turned on... unable to determine which. Warranty was 12 months. Lithium Ion battery should last much longer than that. Very disappointed.

This is a great hard tip stylus. I love being able to go from my Samsung to my buddies iPad. It works on everything so far. Well except the CC readers at Walmart, but those don't count.It is a great show off piece of tech. Sitting in a room full of geeks and nerds using all manner of notebooks, laptops, tablets amd phones. It a blast watching the looks on their faces when mr. iPen and mr. Spen are sitting side by side and they're not compatible, but my Dash is. They're like "Whaaaaaaa????"So much fun out teching the techies.Word of caution. Excessively dirty (finger prints) screens and strong magnets (as found in some phone cases) will hinder its effectiveness.

I am a full time chiropractic student so I spend approximately 40 hours per week in classes taking notes on my iPad Air 2. The stylus works great for this. The only problem is that it seems to wear out/break incredibly fast. I bought this stylus about a month and a half ago and it has already worn out and stopped working all together. I am now on my third stylus and I have not even completed a full year of school yet...

I was so excited for this stylus. I read tons of reviews and watched YouTube videos. I thought I had found exactly what I wanted. I opened it up, turned it on...and it's completely unusable on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. It skips and won't register consistent input. Impossible to use Swype, write or draw. I tried and tried hoping I just needed to get a feel for it. But honestly, a stylus shouldn't have a "learning curve" and no matter what I did it would not work. Returning it. I give this 2 stars because it'is well made, turns on instantly, has a nice feel and design. But if it doesn't work then there is not point.

I love this stylus. It has yet to fail me and I only occasionally charge it. I use the IPad for my construction Project Manager job. This is so much better than the fat end bulb type stylus which are just about worthless. I get some lag in some note taking apps and am working through several apps to select the best for my use. I love the ability to turn on the pad, grab my stylus and start taking notes, make sketches and just treat the pad as if it were a paper notebook. I am trying out a note taking app that converts cursive to text, haven't had enough time to determine if it will work with my poor handwriting. I am so happy with this purchase, thinking of getting another just to have a backup if I loose the stylus out on the job site.

Love it, works great with my samsung tablet. Downside, charging.. but not a big deal.But i recently either lost it or got stolen. I bought it at a deal $29.99.. now the price is back up, trying to find a replacement for lower price =(

Akku hät sehr lange und lässt sich durch den kleinen Stick leicht laden.Der Stift liegt sehr gut in der Hand und es lässt sich sehr gut damit schreiben

Tras probar varios modelos, de varias marcas, debo decir que es lo mejor que he probado. Es cierto que a veces la línea no se hace justo donde la marcas en pantalla, pero teniendo en cuenta que sólo ocurre estando la Tablet en vertical (curiosamente en horizontal nunca) y que la uso para escribir a mano sobretodo y para esto la tengo en posición horizontal, debo decir que por fin he encontrado lo que necesito. Tengo puesto un protector de pantalla de cristal templado, y funciona perfectamente (quizás la razón de esa pequeña discordancia en vertical), pero lo cierto es que un dispositivo tan caro me daba miedo que se rayase la pantalla por las motas de polvo que se puedan encontrar entre la punta y la pantalla...así que se lo puse...y funciona!100% recomendable.
