Awesome tool for fine art wood burning, great details and variety of exchangeable tips
This wood burning tool is one of the better tools I've purchased. Straight forward, easy to use, creates a fabulous burn, and allows for a level of detail needed for my fine art wood burning. It is comfortable in my hand for extended periods of time, easy to store and pack, and exceeded my expectations for functionality.

Works very well
Nice design allowing for easy use and protection from the heat at the tip. Heats up quickly, is lightweight and easy to control and use.

It works ok
I havent don't wood burning in like 20 years, so I wasnt sure how it would go. It works OK. It was kind of a one time project I needed it for. The thing that bothered me the most about it is that the handle still gets pretty hot. It doesn't seem to be insulated very well.

Too Low Watts for Burning Even in Soft Wood
Purchased this to burn letters into a hiking stick made of a soft wood. After a couple of hours, not much progress made. The watts are too low for this task. It might be good for a more delicate task (like burning balsa wood), but it does not get hot enough for wood burning a soft wood like aspen.

Good beginner set
I bought this set primarily for the flat circle burner. It worked exactly as I needed. I used the wood burner for several hours straight and did not experience any issues. I would recommend this set for someone just starting out. It wasn't too expensive and has several tips to choose from and experiment with. Overall a good buy.

Not Recommended
Although I don’t have anything to compare this to, it is a horrible design. I have had to use a hot pad to hold it because it gets so hot where I need to hold it for controlling my moves with it. I got it yesterday and so far two of the tips have already bent and one keeps falling off—which is pretty dangerous because it could potentially cause a bad burn. I do not recommend purchasing this.
