Great product!
I bought these eye patches because of a problem with a nerve that controls my left eye movement which resulted in double vision. I went to the emergency room at the pre-eminent eye hospital in my region of the country and they gave me a regular "pirate" style eye patch to wear. This helped with the double vision, but it didn't allow my glasses, which I need to see well out of my good eye, to sit squarely or comfortably on my face. I had real troubles reading, doing things on my computer and even watching TV.Figuring there had to be a better product out there, I looked to Amazon and found these patches. Since they were under ten bucks so I thought I'd give them a try. Well, I'm glad I did! These patches are totally opaque and black, blocking all light and are designed to cover not only the lens of your glasses, but they also wrap around the side. The ones I got extend far enough above and below the lens on my glasses that they block nearly all light coming into that eye. There's only a narrow strip of light above and below. The patches are light-weight and they don't bother my eyelashes, so they're very comfortable. Two things to be aware of: First, there weren't any instructions included and it took me a few minutes to figure out how the things went on my glasses. I have wire-rimmed glasses and needed to cut a small slit on the inside of the patch to fit around the little prong that holds the nose-rest. This wasn't hard to do, but instructions would have helped. Second, one of the pictures on the product page says it comes in two sizes. The product description didn't say what size these were, there was no drop-down selector to choose a size and there was no size designation on the package I received, so I don't have a clue whether I got the regular or large ones. I suspect they're the regular size but I have no way of knowing for sure. Whatever, I would guess that the ones I got would cover glasses up to the size of the roundish lensed, plastic rimmed ones.Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product. For the price, you can't go wrong.

These are great!
I bought these when my vision in my left eye failed me due to a detached retina and I needed something to cover my eye and keep out the little bit of light that I could still sense. These did the job quite well and were fairly comfortable to boot. Now, they aren't perfect. After a few hours the material they are made of gets a little itchy and they require a little figuring to get on your glasses, but they are leaps and bounds better than a standard eyepatch, and the company sends you a ton of them!

these patches work great! Lets in a little light, but solves my double vision problem.
I like the two sizes for regular glasses and sunglasses. I feel much better going out in public without the pirate patch I was given at the hospital. Easy to use once I went back to the website and figured out how to attach them to my glasses. I had to enlarge the slit to acommodate the size of the "arms" on my reading glasses - no problem. I am very pleased with them so far - here's hoping I won't need them forever.

Not a full blackout
The product covered my glasses well, and is a good solution for that purpose. The hole for the glasses stem is small, but that's easily solved with a scissors. However, it does NOT completely blackout an eye which I find necessary for seeing clearly from the other eye. Usable, but not great.

The right patch for me
I needed a flat patch that covered my left eye while it healed after surgery. I also needed to wear my glasses so that I could see out of my right eye. This patch was great. It fit well over the left lens of my glasses without interfering with the right lens at all. Since it didn't actually touch my eye, there was no discomfort and there was nothing weighing down on my eye. I recommend this product to anyone who needs to cover an eye without the covering actually touching the eye.

Excellent Product. Covers all of glass lens.
I've read the negative reviews and originally felt the same way. Then I watched the video a customer sent in. (She was wearing gloves; thank you, ma'am, for that excellent video. It changed my attitude 180 degrees). Once I put the right lens cover on correctly it was a totally different situation. This covers the whole eye very well and so far has stayed in place, but could also be removed quickly. 3 patches each in two sizes. The bigger size covered my big trifocal lens. I'm very pleased and feel the price is very reasonable, especially with free shipping from Amazon.Thank you again for the video and thank you FCarolyn for the great product.

Temporary
Sturdy, but slid a lot.

Excellent!
The media could not be loaded. Much better than more expensive ones I’ve tried! This is, so far, a better solution than several other patches (those that go over the eye with a strap around your head, and those that go on the glasses lens) I’ve preciously tried, and paid much more for. I’ve taken and labeled several pictures, and made a how-to video of how to put the patch on the glasses since I had a heck of a time figuring it out myself. While this would not be a solution for me if my eye was drawn to light around the outside edge and outside bottom of my glasses, because my eye is mostly drawn to light at the bridge of the nose and bottom that sets in my cheek at that location, this patch is perfect. I patch because of intermittent double vision, and some days as an attempt to decrease the vertigo caused by an MTBI.The patch isn’t touching my eye at any location, even in the tear duct area where you’d think it might. While not an especially soft material, it is not as rough as appears in photos (at least to me it *looked* a bit like rough canvas in the photos). My only concern at this point is how well they’ll hold up over time as I’ll be removing them often (on days when I don’t need patching, or when I need to switch it to the opposite eye, or when I’ll take it off to wash it). However, at this price, they might not be too expensive to replace regularly.I don’t know if there are actually 6 different sizes, or two diff sizes with 3 each. However it is supposed to be, I have two pair of glasses and 2 fit the smaller pair and 1 fits the larger pair.
