Whilst some EQ config is required for best performance, this works well out the box, very impressed with the volume without it clipping or distorting even at higher volumes. Its not the greatest quality by any means but for the price point, and waterproof qualities, it's hard to knock it--update--After a week of intermittent usage and a second full charge I began to notice some bad clipping on and out of sound, very noticeable when using audiobooks especially, the start of each sentence is nigh on silent until the volume ramps up. Tested with various other Bluetooth speakers and headphones to ensure it wasn't the book portion that was the issue. Will be returning as this issue makes them unusable, shame as the speaker seemed to perform well.--second update--I have spoken to the seller who advised that an update should be rolling out for this to fix the above issue. Assuming it does I've readjusted my review to a 5 star again, if it doesn't then please treat as a 3 star.--third update--The seller sent a replacement and this is perfect with no issues, great speaker for the reduced price I paid

As my children had basically commandeered my previous shower speaker, for their bathroom, I decided to get myself a new one for our shower room. I wanted something that looked good, and had decent sound quality. I liked the design of this one, especially that you can attach / remove the suction cup and use the speaker on the move. I also liked the LED lights, and these have proven to be my favourite feature as you can set them to change/sync with your music. The sound is much better than I had expected, and it delivers a good bass when my previous speaker was getting a little 'tinny'. Bluetooth connection is very quick (2-3 seconds at most), and it's fine with water getting on it during a shower without affecting the audio. Battery life is also good, as I've been using it every day for 3+ weeks and not had to charge it yet. I'm very tempted to buy another one, to set them up as a stereo pair...

... don't make the same mistake I did by letting your instincts control your behaviour. I use mine daily in the shower, and as such I turn it on and off again once per day. The power button responds to LONG-PRESS only, but human instinct when pressing a button that doesn't react straight-away is to press it harder. After all mechanical buttons do have physical contacts inside, and there is a tendency for them to wear-out or become eroded. This is not the case with this speaker. You just need to gently hold the button down for a second or two. After slightly over a year of my abuse the ON/OFF micro-switch inside finally gave way. I opened up the device to attempt a repair but it was a lost cause. Since I was super happy with the sound quality, battery life, and water-proofing I decided to buy the same model again. This time I will remember to be patient turning the device on and off, and NOT PRESS HARDER when it doesn't react instantly.Patience my friend, patience!

I bought this awhile ago used it most days in work! Brilliant sound for such a small speaker, battery life is great compared to other products of the same nature, would definitely buy again when this one snuffs it

Bought mine last November but in reality only used it probably twice a month when out working in garden so throughout winter not a lot of use .Any way used it today and now won’t switch of .As it’s out of return but in reality should get 12 month warranty but it appears not so .I have started to dismantle by what I can see the switch arrangement is light weight and all the rubber and stuff that provides the water proof makes it difficult to feel how much pressure is being applied.When u have to hold the on of button to switch on or off .The failure would not occur if like the rest of the control was a single click on and click of .As they are micro switches on a micro pcb I doubt I can replace switch but I’ve nothing to loose .I won’t be purchasing another.
