Looks just as pictured
This utensil draining basket is heavier than most and very sturdy. It has 3 partitioned compartments, which is just what I needed to keep silverware from falling sideways. It fits perfectly on my dish drainer that I bought recently. I would recommend this item.

Very sturdy & more functional than normal plastic utensil racks that come with drainboards.
I love this drying rack! I never liked putting my utensils in the plastic type racks because they always got mold & limescale in the bottom. I am somewhat obsessive compulsive regarding mold anywhere in my home! Less chance of mold with this rack as it drains with no standing water in the bottom. I now use the plastic rack that came with the drainboard to store my scrubber sponge & this rack for my utensils. I do have one small sharp fork that I use when cooking meat that has a very thin handle & it will fall through the rack. I just hand dry it. I have silverware that has a large ornate handle so mine does not fall through at all. If you have silverware with a thin handle, then this rack will probably not work well for you. It is very sturdy & somewhat heavy. If I put a lot of heavy silverware in the utensil rack prior to placing anything in the drainboard, then the drainboard will tip into the sink (I have my drainboard turned parallel to the sink with this rack on the sink side overhanging the sink.) It has a fairly thick vinyl coating (thicker than my rubbermaid drainboard) so it should be very durable. Overall I am very pleased with the appearance & function of this rack.

Excellent cutlery rack for drainboard
I recently purchased a new drainboard and when reading reviews it was mentioned that the cutlery holder that comes with it wasn’t big enough. I purchased this to go with the drainboard when it arrives. This holder is heavy, and I placed a few of my utensils in it to make sure they didn’t slip through and it was fine. It’s well made and also has hooks to hold it in place.

Sturdy Silverware Drainer
I purchased this to replace my original silverware basket that broke after a year's use. This one is sturdy. The only thing I do not like is that when I place my smaller handled silverware in the basket, the silverware falls through the openings at the bottom of the holder. My bigger handled items are fine.

Great basket
Very sturdy and just the right size. Couldn't get a replacement basket for my rubbermaid dish drainer. This works great. It also matches my dish drainer. There are some areas where smaller things will fall through, but, I just put those things in the areas where they won't fall through. Holds larger utensils better than the plastic baskets that come with the dish drainer. Has two dividers so the large stuff stays upright better. I noticed someone else said they put some needlepoint plastic in the bottom and the small stuff won't fall through. I'm going to try that. That way you can also remove the plastic and wash it and it will keep the bottom of the basket cleaner and sharp utensils won't cut the coating on the basket over time. Can't see this breaking down anytime soon. Very well made. Now I wish I could find a larger drain board. They don't make them very big anymore.

What I needed
It was time for a replacement so I had to look for one that matches my current dish rack. This utensil holder is made with wire wrapped in black silicone just like my dish rack set. Easy to clean and very sturdy. The only thing I don't like is that alot of the holes are way too big and I have to put a paper towel inside to keep my silverware and other small items from falling through which kind of defeats the purpose of being a silverware rack. Hmmmm.

PERFECT!!!
My old dish and cutlery dryers were of the old plastic type. It worked fine but it was a bugger to keep clean. Scum built up fast and you had to use a scrub brush and cleaner to get it to where I was comfortable putting clean dishes/cutlery.I tossed it! I just purchased a chrome dish drain that did not come with a utensil drainer, and it sat in my sink until this Black Cutlery Drying Rack got here. This cutlery drain is perfect! It may not be matching to the chrome dish rack I have but I don't care! My forks, spoons and knives fit well in it, NO falling out. If you pay attention to placement, they won't slip out. There is a space in each corner, but there's also a wire wrap around the bottom, so they'll be fine. Unless you just toss your utensils in there...then they probably will fall out! This drainer has 3 sections so you can separate your utensils from cooking tools if you like. I really like the rubber coating...it won't rust. For the money _ I feel it's worth it. This will be around a long time as it's made well. It's big enough that I don't need another one nor do I have to use my dish drain for additional space. I recommend!

the BEST utensil drying basket yet!
I wish this company made dish drainers 'coz this handy little utensil drainer is superbly made. It reminds me of the old days of QUALITY Rubbermaid dish drainers. The utensil drainer is super sturdy and thickly coated to protect utensils. It has two attachment "hooks" to hang on to most types of dish drainers, either outside it or inside. Well done, Better Housewares! Please make some dish drainers, please.
