Couldb't find any Oat Bran at my local markets. Saw this on Amazon and glad i did. Excellent quality. Great price. My bran muffins were delicious.

I bake a lot of whole wheat/wheat bran/flax meal muffins as opposed to buying at the store. Have you ever read the ingredient list on those things? 😱 . Great wheat bran at good price!

I haven't used this bran yet. However, it will likely bake in a muffin or cake and taste delish.

Recently we're hearing a lot about the importance of our 'microbiome,' the beneficial microbes that live in our digestive tract and contribute to our overall well-being. I took this to heart and decided to increase the amount of fiber in my daily diet by adding bran in various ways. Long story short - I checked on the internet, found this Jovvily wheat bran, ordered it, and started trying it out. It was fine for the batch of cookies I baked the day after it arrived. I will use it in baked goods such as muffins and yeast breads, as well as hot cereal.I'm a retired senior, cooking for only myself, so two pounds is a LOT of wheat bran. To keep it fresh, I stored half of it in my freezer; to use after I finish the other half, probably in a few months. And no doubt my microbiome will be very happy with my diet!
