I love the game of Farkle and really liked the look of these dice and carrying case.Is this game any different than any other version of Farkle?... Nope. Is it way over priced for what you are getting? ... Yep. Did I buy it for the cool factor and did it deliver on that? Yep.It's a cool set of dice with a cool carrying case. Ain't no more or less, but it you like the novelty of it, then you have my recommendation.Update: This is a really nice set of dice... easy to read, and the case with rules in a very compact game to take with you. These "skull dice" are now the family favorite when we play. Updating to 5 stars... yep 5 stars!

Farkle is very simple to learn, and this version is very easy to read, with large numbers instead of the traditional pips. The dice are larger than many versions, yet are still small enough to fit all six in one's hand for rolling, so no cup is necessary. Farkle requires some math skill using addition to keep score, but anyone can win, as the outcome depends on the rolls of the dice,making it fun for all ages. The set is small enough to carry in a purse, or keep in the car, for a quick game or two while waiting for a meal or sitting in a bar enjoying a beer(it is amusing for adults as well as children).This case holds the dice well, and it is a good value compared to other sets I have seen in the same price range.

We have had this game for over a year. It's been a blast. We've had people from ages 9-93 play this game. The number one is replaced with a skull and instead of dots it has numbers which has been much easier for the vision impaired in our family. I love the compact size because we can take it anywhere or toss it in a drawer, put it in your purse or pocket. The case is just the right size for all six dice. It doesn't need to be any bigger than that. My husband's grandparents, who are in their 90's love it so much and the size of the case too. They are taking it with them as they travel. There is an insert with instructions and scoring and the scoring is also printed on the inside of the box lid.

Played this game for the first time with friends and we were hooked. What a blast! I bought the travel version to be able to take camping and traveling. I bought the pirate version because the grandsons love pirates.

We love playing farkel and the pirate dice are fun!

I'm very happy I got the black dice. I've played with the white and black and they are both just as fun but the black dice are more Pirate-y.This is a compact, simple game that will keep you entertained for hours. If you like having fun with friends and family, this game is worth it.

Description says “Black” and picture shows “Red” however what was shipped was white. they need to change both description and image to show you might get 1 of 3 colors.

The game is smaller than the palm of my hand.Very disappointing for such an expensive dice game.
