I've had many, many cans of Peanut Patch boiled peanuts as I grew up eating not only homemade boiled peanuts but locally made ones from gas stations, etc. and Peanut Patch canned. I just bought a big can in Virginia since I can't get them where I live and my discovered my son is crazy about them too, so I went ahead and ordered this case of 12. Here are some pertinent facts:The best by date listed on the case is August, 2026. Now, they will not go bad after that...this is just when they are best to eat. So, this case is not super old or outdated stock.The price is a bit expensive but not a deal breaker if you just have to have them and can't find green peanuts to make your own. You can make them with regular raw peanuts (not green) but these are hard to find outside the south as well. I had paid $3:18 for a large can in Virginia. These come to around $3:33 for regular-sized cans. So...a bit expensive but probably not too bad for us beggars who can't really be choosy. I opted to order these because they are fulfilled by Amazon but the prices is still better than some other offerings of Peanut Patch on Amazon.

They taste quite good, especially since we can’t get them here in Washington. I order every couple months. I prefer the small cans over the 6lb can.

Awesome if you like boiled peanuts! I don’t live in the south anymore and I miss my boiled peanuts, and this takes care of my wants! They are cooked perfectly with just the right amount of salt for flavor.

I always get boiled peanuts at the gas station when we go to the gulf Coast. I don’t know what they put into them but I can’t get enough! It’s so bad that I have to order them to satisfy my craving the rest of the year.

I was born and raised in the Deep South Pnut Patch canned green boiled Pnuts have been around as long as l Rembrandt l have enjoyed them for about 50 years the quality of the product is very good when Fresh Green Pnuts are not available only during Pnut harvest season U can get ‘em at roadside stands all over from Tn to Fl and raw from the hundreds of Farmers Markets all over the South to cook at home The canned version by Margret Holmes /Penut Patch is a more than suitable substitute they are well prepared Taste Good and Convenient a little tip pour Pnuts juice and all into a pot add a little salt to taste over medium heat bring just to a boil remove from heat let sit for about 30min then enjoy a taste of the Ol’ South with a Cold beverage of your choice
