This lift cylinder is much stronger than the oem that ii had. It has worked flawlessly in spite of me using the chair for extended period times

PERFECT HEIGHT
I had another lift cylinder that was just too high. I ordered this one, replaced it and it is now the perfect height. I weigh 300 pounds and it handles my weight nicely. No problems at all. YES I would be glad to reccomend this gas cylinder lift to anybody.

An affordable alternative to a new chair
I WFH and have a desk chair from Staples that was reported to have the cylinder go kaput rather quickly and did not want to spend the money on a new chair again. I purchased the higher weight rated cylinder in hopes of avoiding a quick sinking cylinder and after roughly 6 weeks, the new cylinder is starting to sink. I'm not sure if it's due to the nature of the chair being semi poor quality or if the cylinder is poor quality, but my chair does sink frequently during my work day.

Replacement for a failed position that was likely over 20 yrs old on an MCM chair. Super easy install. Holds well and brings the chair back to proper formDefinitely recommend !

1 minute to install. I already had taken apart the ild cylinder in about 10 minutes. Works properly and at a great price.

Worth every penny. It can be a pain to replace so be prepared for that. I will update this review if dies prematurely. Hoping it lasts at least a few years. Oh! If you apply Zero Friction oil, the next time you replace it will be 100x easier.

Works as it should
I am a plus size woman so I always try to find the strongest chair replacement parts. I am in the 300s but I wanted to be CERTAIN it would hold up to everyday use. It does. I feel secure with this cylinder on my computer chair.
