I am buying this again, for the 3rd time for myself. I've also gifted one to a friend. The cover with gilding is beautiful! The paper edges with gilding gives it a magical touch, and I love the weight of the pages and gold ribbon page marker. None of the pages ever fall out. The cover is very rigid and the corners do not damage easily. Maybe the only thing I would like is an elastic strap to keep it closed.

This company's journals are beautiful, well made and the perfect size for me all these years

I could tell from the product image that the journal is lovely, but in person, my jaw dropped. It's SO GORGEOUS. Of course gorgeous is a subjective word, so perhaps it's more accurate to say that it's so much better in person than the photograph. The surface is raised and there is a lot of gold accent. The edges of the paper are gold. The image draws you in like it's a mysterious slice of time and space. I was so impressed with it's beauty, that I immediately bought one each for 3 friends as Winter Solstice gifts, and bought 3 more for myself in case other people realize how beautiful this is and they run out. I know, silly, but WOW, it's so beautiful! I'm glad I have four!

The pages are thick & guaranteed to last a long time. The book is solid and constructed well. This is my 2nd journal from this brand and I will continue to buy them.

I have multiple of these journals now. Unique designs, durable, large pages, and of course the touch of gold on the edge of the pages adds a special touch.
